Overview
The "Self" concept allows a significant saving of money to the guest. Similar to a rental apartment but they are actually rooms with private bathrooms. Located in Calafates downtown, the property provides guests with free WiFi in common areas. Private parking is free. All of them have showers and 24-hours hot water. Maid service is optional. El Calafate Airport is 20 km away. t has a kitchen for guests: you are not obliged to go out to eat and you can also order delivery. Located in the center, one block from the supermarket, all the excursions and shopping arcades. An important property of one hectare. Careful park, heated pool, games room with pool table.

“Relaxing , comfortable and good value”
Rustic style comfortable rooms, lovely gardens , good facilities and pleasant staff. We were given towels and bath robes for use of the pool. There was also a ‘Magic ‘ door that lead to a games room!

“A comfortable and homely hostel”
La Loma is a beautiful building in beautiful grounds . There is a heated pool and the hotel leave bath robes for guests to use the pool. Check in was smooth and they were responsive to our messages. The rooms are quaint and quirky , beds comfortable and bathrooms clean.

Good sized room. Nice swimming pool and games room although a little dated and worn. Gardens to relax in and a communal kitchen with fridge. Couple of minutes walk to main highstreet

Felt like a beautiful little oasis after 2 weeks of travelling. Calm, quiet with all the amenities we needed and located centrally which made exploring the town so easy. A private and relaxing stay that I would recommend to anyone.

“Comfortable stay, LOVED the games room.”
Cosy, loved the games room with the pool table and chess board. Facilities for making meals were ok. Comfortable room, with ok bathroom. The pool was fun! The location is excellent for accessing the Main Street of El Calafate, easily walk to all the shops and tour operator offices.

“Good location, great staff but check your room before you accept that”
Location is very good. Even it’s on the hill, it’s not too bad. Just 200 m from main street and best restaurants. La Loma’ staff is excellent! They are nice, flexible and can speak english.
