“A great little family run hotel.”
The hosts are very welcoming friendly and accommodating. A good breakfast is provided. The property has a lovely garden. There is a bar and lounge area for guests to use.

Lovely, traditional, friendly, family run hosteria. Highly recommend staying here. Very personal welcome. Extremely clean. Simply furnished rooms. Nice and quiet location with pretty garden. Bar. Nice breakfast with freshly cooked eggs. 10-15 mins walk from bus station and similar length walk into El Calafate town centre.

“Nice ambient. Comfortable.”
The ambient in the common room is amazing! Very beutiful and cozy. If we stayed longer we would spand a lot of time on the sofe in front of the fireplace. The room was cozy as well! We felt like we were spending a night in a very nice mountain hut.

“Good value for money”
Very kind service, lovely breakfast (and good coffee!), beautiful garden to look out on. The property is 700 metres from the bus station which is convenient to walk to and from (some of the road is unpaved, but easily walkable none the less), then an easy 10-15 minute walk into town for dinner. We felt we received good value for what we paid, and the location worked well for us for a brief over-night stay with the logistics of the bus and luggage.

the decor in the main lobby is homely and so is the beautiful garden. But that’s about all. Everything else downhill.

“A friendly, comfortable stay with everything we needed”
The staffs were very friendly and welcoming. The room was simple, but it is clean and had everything we needed. The wifi was good, and the breakfast was really nice. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Our stay in Hosteria Rukahue was excellent. The staff (Santiago) was very helpful and accommodated very late check in - they were also kind enough to store our bags during an overnight trip to El Chaletan before returning to Hosteria Rukahue for another night. The breakfast was also excellent and freshly made. Definitely underselling themselves as a 1-star! Really good value for money and very comfortable.

everything was great except non-paved pathway to the facility. we had hard time to carry ourluggage from the bus terminal to the hotel w stiff non-paved hill by foot.

The experience in Hostería Rukahué was great. It is a small hotel but really cozy and clean. I really liked the living room with a great view on the city. It is not far from the city center. It is a family business and all the staff was really kind and helpful. The breakfast was decent as well.

Very friendly welcoming staff good location. Good price ideal for a short stay But fir a longer you need more space in the rooms. We were nevertheless to stay there and enjoy our stay

“A pleasant guest house conveniently located close to the bus station.”
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Plus the room was well heated at night and the wide window could be opened up to enjoy the pleasant garden. The guest house has a lovely view over the lake and was an easy short walk from the bus station and not that far from the town centre.
