We wholeheartedly recommend Susana’s accommodation. She is an incredibly warm and welcoming host, and the place is spotless and thoughtfully equipped. Waking up to a breathtaking sunrise each morning is truly special. Susana is also a talented cook, and you can enjoy a cozy dinner in the guesthouse while admiring the beautiful nighttime views over Calafate.

Susan provided such warm hospitality. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and was very kind with our young children. The room was large, clean and warm and breakfast was delicious and generous.

Our stay at this hotel was by far the most beautiful of our entire trip through Argentina. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy peace and tranquility. From the window, you have a stunning view of Lago Argentino. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We also really appreciated being able to have dinner at the hotel, which was perfect for us. Above all, we would like to highlight the exceptional hospitality of our wonderful host, Susana (we hope we spelled the name correctly 😊). She provided us with many detailed recommendations and great tips for excursions, and we truly enjoyed our conversations with her. This hotel will always remain in our best memories, and we would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

“Loved our stay with Susana!!”

Susana is such a great host!! Despite speaking little English, she takes care of you, prepares a great breakfast starting early (7am) and also prepares dinner if you wish. The rooms itself were spacious but basic and had good view over the lake. This was perfect for us to be honest - we were looking for a convenient place to stay but were not planning to spend a lot of time in the hotel itself and then this hotel has all you need :)

The accommodation is very beautiful, with modern and spacious rooms and a great view. The location is very charming, outside the bustle of the city and surrounded by nature, but easy to reach by car or taxi. Susana is a very warm, attentive, and exceptionally good host. She prepared delicious breakfast and dinner for us and helped us organize excursions. We felt very welcome and can highly recommend the accommodation. The hostess was very friendly and caring. She was always ready to help us. The hosteria is located outside the city with a beautiful view of the bay. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and cozily furnished. The highlight was the breakfast.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The hostess was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away. The hotel has a fantastic location with a breathtaking view over the bay. The breakfast was also outstanding — by far one of the best we experienced during our time in Patagonia. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

“A lovely hotel in El Calafate”

We had a great time at Hostería La Soberana. The view of Lago Argentino is beautiful and although it takes 10 minutes to drive into the town centre we enjoyed the peace and quiet The breakfast was delicious and Susana, who runs the hotel, is really lovely!

Warm hospitality, lovely views, relaxed and modern atmosphere and a good breakfast including homemade fruit salad. A perfect spot if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of El Calafate

“Fantastic accomodation in El Calafate”

Susana is a fantastic host. She has helped us in organizing our visit to El Calafate providing a lot of very useful suggestions. The room was very nice, with a lot of space. The breakfast is very good and varied. I would reccomend this place if you would like to visit El Calafate but you will need a car to reach the place.
