Really close to the bus terminal and the host even picked us up in his car (for free) because it was raining and we had a lot of luggage. Very cute house, quiet. Perfect place to spend a night while transiting (we arrived from Torres that evening and left for el chalen the next morning).

This was by far our best stay in Patagonia. Diego’s caban had everything we needed: enough space, comfort, appliences and a delicious breakfast. He built this place with so much care and attention to details that we really felt like home. Beds were super comfy, the whole place and the water were heated, and the location is in a short walking distance to the city center. Diego was also a great host helping us with anything we needed. Our stay at Diego's home - Cabaña La Marilena was extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The house itself is stunning, clean and cozy. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the pleasant reading nook and fully-stocked kitchen to the overall positive vibe and peaceful atmosphere. Diego is a world-class host—incredibly responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We especially appreciated special birthday greetings and the local recommendations for visiting the sightseeings. The location was also ideal, only some steps from the bus terminal.

This was honestly one of the best stays I’ve ever had. You might not expect such high praise, but Diego’s impeccable taste and the delicate touch he’s given this house are remarkable. The breakfast he serves is wonderful, the beds are incredibly comfy, and the whole house has a charm that makes you feel right at home.

We stayed at the Cabana for a night before our flight back and I’m glad that we did. Diego is an excellent host, we were made to feel welcome from the get go. The cabana is welcoming and has little touches that make you feel at home. Diego also brought us some breakfast for the morning ahead of our flight which we really appreciated.
