“Excellent hotel”

Nice and clean and 2 minutes got checked in

The breakfast buffet was great with different bread, juices,tea, cheese, and sausage. The scrambled eggs were done with real eggs.

This was an excellent place for a stopover. The room was a great size and there is plenty of parking. The history of the building is interesting and is set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings.

Great staff, good location close to the highway if travelling distances.

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We liked the fact the toilet was separate from the bathroom and that there was also a dressing room/walk in wardrobe. The buffet breakfast was excellent although we were charged for our coffee. The location was perfect for us as we were in Germany to attend a concert at the nearby Creuzburg Castle. The nearby town of Eisenach was attractive with a good choice of restaurants.

“Disappointing”

Check-in went smoothly, but that was about it.. 2 weeks before my stay the hotel messaged me to ask if I wanted to eat there and if yes from the buffet or in the restaurant, because in that case I needed to make a reservation. I had a look at the website and said yes, please do make a reservation in the restaurant. When I went into the restaurant at the reserved time, it turned out there was a private event ongoing and I was not welcome there. I was quickly ushered upstairs to a kind of refectory where I could eat from the buffet (which didn't look appealing to be honest). I mentioned to the waiter that I actually had a reservation in the restaurant and although she asked the kitchen, they were not able to make me anything à la carte. Why ask me if I want a reservation in the restaurant if it isn't even available? I went to a Trattoria in another golf place nearby where they had a terrace even, so thankfully that was much better! It is a little gem. Great value for money. The breakfast was fair, not a spectacular one but complet. The actual restaurant facility is fantastic with interior columns and old style decoration! Staff were exceptionally friendly. Just only one remark, they only have one charging station they should invest in more.

“Perfect for an overnight stay”

Quite a big hotel. No problems with late (after 21:00) arrival. Rooms are not brand new but in good condition. Comfy bed, spacious room. Everything for bathroom was there. Plenty of parking space. Great buffet breakfast. The only drawback is weak WiFi signal. All in all it's a perfect place for those who travels by car and needs a stop during the journey.

Good location and convenient stay when travel. Breakfast was good and fresh as always but I think is less choices as was before. Kind stuff and easy to communicate. Big rooms and good size of bathroom.

This property are surrounded with nature. Parking lot is just in the front yard of Hotel. Dining room is very nice with magnificent stone pillars and the quality of breakfast is excellent.
