Overview
Featuring an outdoor pool and air conditioning, HI - Massada Hostel lies at the foot of the Massada plateau on the eastern edge of the Judaean Desert. It features en suite rooms and dormitories with free Wi-Fi. Accommodation at the HI - Massada Hostel is air conditioned and is fitted with a kettle, cable TV and fridge. Rooms have functional furniture and tiled floors and the bathroom is complete with toiletries and a shower. The Ein Gedi Spa and the beach are about a 15-minute drive from the property and are set on the shores of the Dead Sea. You can go for a walk along marked routes close to the desert streams. Alternatively, you can go for a panoramic moonlit tour around the Massada and Sdom marlstones.

It is in close proximity to the Masada and the snake trail. Good breakfast - everything tasted fresh; however that can not be said about dinner - vegetables were not fresh, probably the same from the breakfast. We liked a small book exchange corner.

Young lads on reception were exceptionally informative and helpful (English spoken). Ducked out for a swim in Dead sea. Absolute highlight was going for a Shabat dinner at the Kibbutz dining hall up the road. Terrific Jewish home cooking, very welcoming if you not Jewish. Cheers guys!!!

A lovely place, right next to the cable car, simple but clean, with sufficient breakfast, and very nice facilities: a big swimming pool, a sports camp and a playground for kids.

“Excellent. Modest, but very comfortable.”
The rooms were very clean, and had everything we needed, very friendly and accommodating staff, and most importantly (for us) - it was very quiet, even though there was a school trip, and dozens of teenagers everywhere.

We wanted to be near the park and could not have been any closer. We were able to walk to the snake path from the hotel. The accommodation was spacious, offered us separate rooms, and a good size bathroom. Breakfast was included.

“Perfect location for visiting Masada.”
The location is very convenient for visiting Masada, and the staff suggested a late check out as it was Shabbat and I had to wait for evening for a bus after visiting the site. Coming back to a shower and the pool after a very hot morning on top of Masada was a delight! The Friday night meal was delicious.
