“Honest small hotel with a very nice owner!”

Ewan (the owner) is a fantastic guy doing his very best to accommodate his guests. The first night we tried out his own version of pasta bolognese and it was really good. Breakfast was good - selection fine and all the food was good quality. The scrambled eggs and bacon were outstanding. Tip for others - you should try the Partnach Gorge. (See pictures)

The hospitality from the owners Maria & Otto was outstanding! The variety of breakfast was excellent and tasty! The evening meals cooked by chef Otto were delicious and full of taste! Just a quick walk to the cable cars with lots of hiking paths or a quick walk into the centre of town.

Otto and Maria, the owners, are a very nice and super friendly couple. We felt very much at home and had a great stay. Everything had a very special, personal touch. We had a really good time.

The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from the town, very close to trails and hikes and beautiful views, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the mountain air and to explore. We were there during a short spell of rain and the hotel was a nice comfy place to relax. The staff are wonderful, all very friendly, Maria and Otto have a lovely blend of B&B and hotel, without the bustle of a large hotel. The breakfast was very tasty and a perfect selection to choose from to start off your day, whatever adventures lay ahead. They have plenty of local knowledge to share if you need some details or inspiration. A few select days a week there is a delicious home cooked meal available to enjoy in the cozy bar and dining area, fresh ingredients acquired that day. Our accommodation was very comfortable and spacious, we had a two bedroom suite with a dining area and cozy TV lounge and lovely views from our balcony. We loved our stay and look forward to returning one day.

This was a very nice hotel. It is small, cosy and well-run. The owners Otto and Maria received and treated us almost as if we were old acquaintances. They prepared special meals for our little boy and gave advice for day trips. They run the hotel with an authentic personal touch and very professionally - you know, when you don't even notice but everything is taken care of, clean and organized. Breakfast was excellent, dinner was good and convenient. We had a large room with balcony - lovely view of the green garden and surrounding mountains.

This was an amazing experience! From the beginning, we knew that our journey here will be nice, but we didn't expected for what it would come. Maria, Otto and Team know's how to make you feel like home, in their own home. They are all very professionals! Maria offer us a very warm welcome, starting with a very nice message in our room. She offered us all the informations regarding their home, not only in our first day, but in all days. She made us food recommandations, she gave us travel info's and even she had booked a table for us to a restaurant, when they didn't served dinner. We also loved talking to Otto. He gave us info's about hiking, where to go, when to go, he knows the weather, the places, he gave us even a local map with the mountains. He even cooked very well, one of the best food's I ever eat. They serve dinner almost each evening and the food is very fresh and very good. The breakfast is also very good, serving only quality stuff, most of them local products. These people are very kind, that they even helped us to see a dentist in the area, as an emergency. From the bottom of our hearts, Maria, Otto and Team, thank you for this amazing experience!!! Without no doubt, when we will travel again in Austria, we'll come to you, because you are amazing!!! Thank you so much!! Ps. We are very sad we stayed only 4 nights, but next time we'll stay longer for sure! Best regards!

Maria & Otto are lovely hosts , hotel is really nice , cosy , situation is amazing ... breakfast is really good as well... Das Halali is the perfect place for a short break or even more :)
