“Cute cottage with a disappointing stay”
The location was good for quiet out of city stay, next to a small river. The cottage (Yellow Cottage) is small and cute though very aged. Though dated, the equipment in the kitchen worked. The deck overlooking the river was a nice feature.

The house is comfortable and clean, has an amazing balcony right next to a river and is at a great location. Definitely suggest using the barbecue available outside for a night grill and beers hopefully while watching the aurora. It is just a few minutes away from a lagoon so make sure to check it out.

This place is very amazing! Close the road however not to shiny because the front door has may trees these so hidden! Very perfect! I love it 🥰

“A spacious place with everything you need!”
The property is very spacious and has everything you need. The owner is very friendly and responsive. Perfect location for those who want to explore Hengifoss or Stuðlagil Canyon. The complimentary coffee was by far the best coffee we had in Iceland!

Nice location, very short drive from town. It's like center point of many attractions around (studlagil, puffins, hengifoss, mjoifjordur) Nice kitchen with dish washing machine :)
