This was definitely one of the best hotels during our trip around Iceland. The location is very peaceful and beautiful, slightly away from the city, which creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere surrounded by nature. We also really enjoyed the hotel restaurant. It stayed open quite late, which was extremely convenient for us because we arrived around 8 PM and were still able to have a proper dinner after a long day of driving. The breakfast was excellent as well. The fresh hot waffles were especially memorable, and the coffee was very good too. It was a perfect start to the next day of our journey.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The atmosphere was fairytale-like and very charming. A huge thank you to the staff, who were the definition of polite and helpful throughout our stay. Also, don't miss the breakfast—it was truly lavish with so many high-quality options.

The water from the shower was smelling very badly, and the same from the sink too.

“Best hotel in Iceland”

The best hotel we stayed in Iceland! The hotel is in a perfect location away from light pollution so there's a chance to spot the aurora. The cottage was really cute and had a kitchenette which allowed us to cook. What we appreciated most was that we were served a buffet breakfast on Christmas day even though we were the only guests! Thank you for your dedication to treat guests to the warmest hospitality.

This was the best, most friendly hotel we stayed in our 10 day trip around Icelands Ring Road. We were given a friendly welcome by the owner a family run business . It was first class. The location is outstanding , in such beautiful grounds . An excellent room so comfortable and quiet. An excellent breakfast .
