Overview
Ēdoles Pils is a 13th century castle featuring park walks and views of the lake. It is set in Ēdole in the Kurzeme Region, 42 km from Ventspils. The rooms come with a private or shared bathroom facilities. A TV is offered. There is a 24-hour front desk at the property. Guests can walk up the tower to enjoy picturesque surroundings. There is a working museum of this only habitable castle in Curonian bishopry, and a number of different exhibitions and concerts are organized.

Amazing and authentic experience in a very special place. The room was very comfortable, nicely furnished, with a beautiful view through the window. You can order rich and tasty breakfast for additional price. Do not forget to visit an interesting museum located in the castle.

“Nice place with flaws”
Sleeping in a castle overall is a cool experience. You walk through the museum to get to the rooms, so it's like you're actually in a different time. There's even a cute cat that lives in the castle. The room was big with fitting old furniture, as seen on the photos. The bathroom was quite newly renovated. There was a TV, different lights that made it comfortable.

“Great opportunity for great price”
Great chance to satay in real castle. Rooms are nice and cozy with old and stylish furniture. The whole vibe is great and castely. Do not expect too much for the price, but i recommend the castle exhibition and the overall place.

“Nice”
I like the castle`s cat who followed us from the beginning and enjoyed us through the breakfast till the leaving. We liked many flowers in the entrance. We like that we head possibility to wandering through the castle`s museum. The view from the window to the pond was also beautiful as well as the view from the top of the castle` s tower.

“Great experience in a super interesting place.”
The breakfast was super good and great value for money. The museum was really interesting and we warmly recommend it to everyone who visits the castle or nearby. The staff was very friendly. The room rate was surprisingly low for a stay in a real castle. We really loved our short stay there.
