“The overall impression is entirely negative.”
There is no elevator. The staircase is spiral, very steep, and lacks handrails, making both ascent and descent unsafe. Accommodation is effectively unsuitable for people with reduced mobility. The exit from the apartments leads directly onto the roadway — there is no sidewalk, and no barriers or railings are installed. The room is extremely small — approximately 7–8 square meters. Furnishings are minimal: two beds, a small bedside table, a wardrobe, and a refrigerator. There is no space to store luggage (bags or suitcases). The bathroom has a step, which is also inconvenient and potentially unsafe. Cleanliness is questionable: black hairs were found on the bed linen. Breakfast is very limited and consists only of cold items: a few slices of vegetables (tomatoes and cucumbers), low-quality sausage, a small piece of cheese, butter, jam, and an egg. The view from the window is of a brick wall with graffiti reading “INTIFADA”. For comparison, I have stayed many times in Edirne (Hotel Trakya). With a price difference of about €10 for two nights, the level of comfort is completely different — including breakfast, rooms, and service. Conclusion: I do not recommend this accommodation to anyone, especially elderly guests and families with children.

The hotel was very clean and pleasant. The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. We felt very welcome during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel with both hands!

Mr Karatay is an outstanding gentleman. He went out of his way to help us secure tickets to Plavdov after we were lead seriously astray using online bus booking platforms. We would not have made it without his help. He is always friendly and treats his guests with the utmost respect

“A very welcoming and convenient guesthouse in a surprising place.”
We stayed at this guesthouse for two nights. Although, at first glance, the neighborhood may seem unsafe, we didn't have any problems, knowing the city and Turkey in general quite well. We were coming from a long drive from Kusadasi and needed a clean, quiet place to rest on the way home. we found it at the M.H.T. guesthouse, where I had made a reservation since leaving Romania. I have to say that the low price for the services offered made me hesitate to book, thinking that maybe it was an exaggeration. However, analyzing the reviews, we decided to try it and the result was beyond expectations. We were pleasantly impressed by the warmth with which we were greeted by the owner, helped by her two daughters, even if only one of them spoke English. As phone translation apps are now commonplace, it all went very smoothly. We parked the car in the private parking lot, large enough, in the immediate vicinity of the guesthouse, took the camera at reception and the tiredness accumulated on the road disappeared as if by magic, which prompted us to go out, at dusk, in the city. On this occasion, we found that the city center is very close and it was a great pleasure for us to walk through the picturesque streets of the old town, with shops and welcoming restaurants. Coming back to the guesthouse, I must say that it offers exactly what is described on the booking.com page. For €35/night standard double room, we had private bathroom with shower, toilet, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and typical local breakfast, plus secured parking. The guesthouse is located right next to the stadium and close to Ulus Pazar Yeri, where we got, at a very reasonable price, a melon and a watermelon, both delicious.
