Overview
This 4-star breakfast only hotel is located directly at the white sandy beach of the Baltic Sea and offers a vast variety of different rooms and suites with direct or partial sea view. All rooms are furnished with flat screen TV, radio, in-room safe, hairdryer and private bathroom with shower or bathtub. The sumptuous breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant with a large terrace and enjoyable views over the beach and bay. Relax in the sauna or simply enjoy a delicious cocktail with a snack in the hotel bar. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the property. The medieval historical town of Eckernfoerde as well as the train station are a 5-minute walk away. Kiel, the capital of Schleswig-Holstein, Kappeln, Schleswig can be reached within 30 minutes by car. Eckernfoerde is the ideal starting point not only for fans of the Baltic Sea, but also for exploring northern Schleswig-Holstein with e.g. cultural visits to the many state museums, country estates, Haithabu, hikes in the Huettener mountains, Windeby Noor, day trips to the North Sea coast, as well as enjoyment of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Green Screen Film Festival, sailing events or practicing sporting activities such as golfing, horseback riding, snorkeling.

The view from the sitting room was not as nice as from the sleeping room. I would not opt for the Junior Suite again.

“perfect location for city and beach”
The location is excellent. Our room had a tiny balcony overlooking the sandy beach. It was easy to find a restaurant for dinner. Underground parking was great. The property allowed us to leave the car in the garage and walk around the pedestrian zone after check out.
