“excellent”
We were there attending the carnival with local friends. This is the first time we stayed here and we were very pleased. We particularly liked the eco fire heater-very cosy. The setting is lovely, really peaceful and fantastic bird song. Logistically everything ran very smoothly and the hosts were very welcoming. We will be back!

“A warm welcome and plenty of peace and quiet”
Our lodge delivered exactly what we expected when we booked - a cosy cabin in the countryside, surrounded by peace and quiet. Our hosts were fantastic, giving us a warm welcome and explaining everything when we arrived - they even helped us get our belongings into the lodge and recommended some great walking routes in the local area. Breakfast was really good quality for the price. Ecau Lodge is also super dog friendly.

“Beautiful oasis of calm”
A beautiful little oasis, beautifully planted and very lovingly built. The staff were lovely and the hut was perfect for a family of four. We only stayed for one night but would have liked to stay longer
