Yoku was a very accommodating host and went to every effort to ensure an enjoyable stay and her meals were beyond expectations.

We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed the home cooked meals for dinner and breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here if you are passing by Ebino and want a lovely home stay experience. The accommodation is very cosy, but the main highlight was the host who went above and beyond by calling the local children's hospital to help us book a checkup for our son.

We had a very relaxing stay and we’re cared for very well. Yuko prepared us a wonderful dinner and breakfast and kept the wood fire stoked all evening making her lovely home feel cosy.

It was very nice and interesting , beeing in a i would say traditionall japanese house. The owner is very very friendly, she borrowed me her bicycle, so i could explore Ebino! The food was amazing!!! Greetings Dominik

“Simply perfect”

Very nice located homestay. We have been the only guests. The host was super nice. She offered breakfast and dinner, both very tasty and individually prepared. It was a kind of small boutique hotel experience. Good place to discover the national park around. Having a car is helpful to discover the surrounding.

It was such a lovely stay. Yuko is an amazing host and cook, the house is nice and futons comfortable and the surroundings quiet and well located to go to the Ebino Plateau (if you have a car). Would definitely come back and stay longer next time!

Yuko san was incredible, very generous, kind and thoughtful. The property is well maintained, clean and comfortable. You have your own bathroom, sitting room and futon space so it is private as you need. The food Yuko makes mostly from her garden was delicious!

Yuko our host was a fantastic cook who sources a lot of ingredients from her garden to make delicious traditional country style meals. The spacious accomodation is attached to her cafe which is surrounded by rice paddies and small farms. Although her English is limited she communicates efficiently via a translation app and provided us with good information about the local area and customs. Our excellent evening meals and breakfasts were included in the room rate which was very reasonable.

All the food was amazing and one of the best hosts I ever had, she was just lovely. Google Translate really does the trick and it feels more like and AirBnb than a hotel experience. A car is mandatory I would say though!

Yuko, the proprietor, took such good care of me and made sure I was always comfortable. She also arranged for me to make some pottery and for one of her friends to take me to the top of the nearby Mount Karakuni, trekking past active, smoking volcanoes! From the top it's possible to see Mount Shinmoedake, the volcano from the James Bond film 'You Only Live Twice'!! We also had an impromptu karaoke session with some of her friends! A fabulous couple of days in a spectacularly gorgeous part of the World with a wonderful host!
