“Larnach Castle stay”

Brendan checked us in and went above and beyond to make sure we were fed after arriving late and missing the dining experience. The room was large and comfortable with a beautiful view to wake up too.

Included breakfast was delicious. Loved the character-filled stables. Lovely place to stay. Great place to stay especially if you’re wanting to explore the Otago Peninsula or see the castle. Were really helpful with our toddler too.

Breakfast was great. Choice of approx 8 options for cooked breakfast plus continental options also. Definitely need a car for this location. Beds super comfy. Lovely room in the lodge, Rose room. Would have been 10 rating except water temp in shower luke warm on full heat.

This stay exceeded our expectations, it was a gem. The staff were amazing and the room was comfortable and good value for money with breakfast included in the price. We would happily stay there again and we look forward to another stay in the future.

Wonderful unique historic location and buildings. Beautifully restored. Excellent service and superb food (at dinner and in the cafe). Staff friendly and helpful with advice about the castle and the surrounding attractions! Comfy lodge room with a stunning view.

The most spectacular view from my room window! Underfloor heating in the period perfect bathroom. The rooms decor & furniture true to the style of the Castle. The helpful, informative, friendly staff. The atmospheric ballroom cafe with its lovely selection of food. And, of course, the wonderful garden.
