Unfortunately the staff made me have a bad experience to the point that I left after only half of my booked stay. I want to discourage everyone from coming here. But what happened? I was told that check-in is until 5pm, so to arrive in time I left earlier than expected from Vilnius. At 4:30pm, I approached the reception. To my surprise, nobody was there. Not a big deal, right? Well, the accommodation advertises having a sauna and so I wanted to book it. This was my main reason to go there. After not showing up and not responding to my messages on my day of arrival, I received another message the next day, saying that the sauna was “available” (maybe a typing error?) the entire time of my stay except the last day (which is curious since I saw two other guests in total but okay). Wew, I thought, that’s a pity but maybe I can book the sauna for the last day. So I asked for the details. I got the answer only the next day: They texted me only three words capital letters in Lithuanian (btw their entire communication was in Lithuanian only, I had to translate everything… in 2025…), that the sauna was now also occupied on the last day of my stay. Now I was so frustrated that I contacted the help service of booking.com who fortunately took my complain seriously. I let the hotel know about it and they answered in a sarcastic manner. And all this was not even everything. In summary, while the hotel facilities are okay, the hotel is a) very badly located if you don’t have a car (the buses only come very very rarely), b) at least unclear and if not down right scamming about their sauna availability and c) it’s communication is slow, disrespectful and unprofessional. Honestly, I was so happy after I left early. I regret coming here and that they got my money.

This is a great place to stay if you want a more quieter place in the summer away from the busyness of Druskininkai. Yet the city is within a short cycling distance. For the budget the room was good enough. Surrounded by wonderful forests.

Great location, big parking. Breakfast is in a nearby restaurant (1 minute walk). I really liked the pancakes with cottage cheese. Thank you for the hospitality!
