This property is exceptional. We were sad only to be staying one night we would have liked to.stayed longer. The quality of facilities and equipment was first class as well as the information provided. The kitchen and living space are shared with other guests.Some people may not like this but for us this is an added bonus as we like to mix with people from different countries to our own. There was secure bike storage for our touring bikes.

This was our second stay at the property, and we were just as delighted as our first visit. Always spotlessly clean and well maintained. The hosts were accommodating as always, even remembering us from our previous stay. This time, we stayed in the upstairs “verte” room with jacuzzi. We can’t wait to return again soon, maybe to the newly added private apartment.

“Amazing week in this beautiful property”

We (English & Italian) had a 6 night stay at this property at the end of January / start of February 2024. We decided to stay here as we have family that live in Drusenheim, but also wished to explore the region. Immediately upon arrival, all our expectations were surpassed as the property has a sizeable garden and ample parking outside, and inside it’s superbly modern and spacious, with large windows letting in plenty of light. Despite the time of year and cold weather we were never cold with the heating and air-con unit in our room. We found the bed comfy and weren’t disturbed by either other guests or outside noise due to the property’s location on a quiet residential street. The bathroom was perfect, with high quality towels provided for the large inbuilt shower. The kitchen facilities were generous, and although we didn’t cook anything during our stay, we made use of the large fridge-freezer. For the first 2 nights, there was another couple also staying at the property, but this proved to be no problem, as both them and ourselves spent little time at the house during the day. Owing to the optimal location of the property, Drusenheim station is only a 5 minute walk away, serviced by regular trains into Strasbourg, a journey which takes just under 30 minutes. The owners were very hospitable and friendly, it’s obvious they take so much care in the property as they can regularly been seen on a morning, and despite only speaking French (our only regret is not being able to speak with them much as our French language skills are rather below-par), made every effort to ensure we were happy and comfortable throughout our stay. A later check-in was no issue for them, as we arrived at 10pm, and we were never made to feel rushed to check out by 11am - although we were very reluctant to leave!
