“A gem near NP Krka.”

With amazing owner/host Marko this stay was most pleasant in the whole Krka trip. Marko is very friendly, enthusiastic, his place is organised, and he offers his local products. Rooms were very cosy, sleeping in a barrel isn't everyday's thing. Breakfast were hearty made with passion. And on the top Marko explained history, and also suggestions for our intended journey which we took and followed. Thanks Marko, we will come back!

Super accommodation; original and very comfortable! Good beds, nice and spacious private bathroom, swimming pool in front of the barrels and a nice restaurant as a bonus. And last but not least, the host. Marko is a nice host that makes you feel welcome immediately!

Absolute must stay accommodation. Great location close to the Krka National Park. Very clean and comfortable quirky rooms. But best of all is the host, Marco. Out stay as been one of the highlights of our Croatia journey.

An unusual place to stay but brilliant fun! Our arrival was straightforward and Marko was welcoming. He was relaxed and had a good sense of humour. We enjoyed our evening meal, Marko’s homemade wine and the breakfast too! The pool was clean and refreshing and had some sun loungers around too.

What a place. Everything is very clean and comfortable. But the ultimate highland is Marko, the owner. He can cook really good for you inside his restaurant. He makes a lot of the food himself. And his delicious wine. We had a great time and we had a personal tour when he was harvesting his wine. We also got delicious home made Fig yam!

Amazing to stay in a wine vat. Rooms had aircon and lovely bathroom. Marko is an amazing host and we had dinner in his restaurant (next door) both nights which was fabulous food and company. Marko also has vineyards and the stars at night were spectacular. Markos knowledge of where to visit locally and best timings made our day in Krka National park stress free. The pool is clean and a lovely place to cool off and relax. This felt like a Race Across the World Homestay (without the jobs).

We had such a fabulous stay here. The rooms were well designed and the pool area was a big bonus! Rooms are very unique. We felt very welcomed and the food was amazing, we left having made new friends!

The stay felt like a whole experience on Markos vineyard - would highly recommend for a night. The barrels are fun, clean and well equipped. The pool was lovely. Evening dinner was very authentic food and lots of wine from the vineyard and reasonably priced. Marko gave tips on the best way to visit Krka National Park which were really helpful.

We loved staying in a more remote location and enjoyed the peace and quiet enormously. We were very excited to sleep in a wine barrel and were not disappointed - in fact in was very comfortable with a lovely modern bathroom. Marko is an amazing host - very friendly and keen to make your stay comfortable. We ate breakfast and dinner cooked by him and thoroughly enjoyed his great cooking which used local produce, often grown by Marko himself.

A great getaway place from the busy touristy areas in the summer in Croatia. Marko was a great host, the place met all our needs and is ideal for relaxed stay by the pool. Will definitely be back again :)

“A unique experience surrounded by nature”

We loved the idea of sleeping in wine barrels and were not disappointed. There was a varied and extensive breakfast with different home cooked elements, cheese, meat and jams each day. The swimming pool and surrounding area was a good size for the number of rooms sharing. The area was peaceful, surrounded by nature. We took advantage of the on-site dinner for two evenings - these are fixed meals, featuring traditional Croatian recipes with lots of meat. Marco is a great host and shared some great tips for less well known places to visit locally. Krka National Park is easily reached as is Split.
