North usually is tough and not welcoming... but Sunna's host changed that experience. See you again hopefully!

The apartment is well kept, functional in everything you may need. It's warm, as the owner :) small, praticle and great value for money! Talk!!!

Great location with a view over the fjord. Clean, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Kitchen set up would suit most travellers. The windows gave a variety of interesting outlooks. The garden of the main house is meticulous, which gives an excellent first impression. Quiet area. Easy access to the hot pools just down the road. Responsive and considerate host. Overall excellent vibe.

Roomy studio apartment with kitchen conveniences. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom with heated towel rails. We enjoyed our couple of days here exploring the westfjords, thanks Sunna for being a great host.

Nice accomodation. Enjoyed the Drangsnes hotbtubs nearby.

“Great little basic apartment in a cracking location”

Great little self contained apartment. Basic amenities but very clean and comfortable. The shower was hard to get out of due to the awesome geothermal water. Views across to the island were beautiful as was sunrise (not a massive amount of control over that though!). The owners were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Would have loved to have spent more time in the area but it was only a quick stopover. It exceeded our expectations as we didn't think the photos portrayed the property in its best light, it really is much better in person.

Sunna, the host was lovely. The bathroom was wonderful, beds cumfortable and the place was clean. I would recommend a stay here.

All perfect! Great location from the hot tubs, local shop. Very clean, lovely bathroom, well stocked kitchen, good WiFi!

“Good facilities, helpful location, beautiful views”

If wanting to stay on the Drangsnes peninsular this is a great option. Had all the basics for cooking and sleeping in a good space. Downstairs so easy access for moving bags etc. Nice idea to include bathrobes to use at the hotpots, and the entrance hall has helpful information like a map, shop information, and prices for the hot tubs (we actually used the natural one further round the coastline, but the village ones look very handy). Shower was good and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel provided along with good towels. It was nice that Sunna met us when we arrived :) Nice to have a walk around the village and there is a jumping pillow just behind the guesthouse which gives great views. Orange lighthouses in Drangsnes and on Grimsey look beautiful in the setting sun. It was a treat to spot whales from the main window in the fjord one morning (whilst admiring the beautiful view of Grimsey from the window).....we moved the table to the centre of the room so we could enjoy the view whilst eating etc.

Very lovely place to stay. Super helpful and friendly owners. Beautiful view, relaxing nature and very comfortable room. The kitchen is very well equipped.
