“Best little cottage in the westfjords”
The hot tub was amazing, The owner even came by to explain how to work it (a faucet can be turned on or off to let hot 46°C water flow in, that's all there is to it). The cottage is well made, nicely insulated and pleasantly warm, there is in-floor heating and the bed is in a cosy little corner that you can close off with a curtain. I proposed to my girlfriend there on a cloudless night under the milky way and some northern lights, she said yes so that worked well.

Excellent cabin with good layout and facilities. Very comfortable bed. Excellent place to stop while exploring the Westfjords.

“Great place to stay - beautiful, restful spot - wish we would have booked more nights.”
The lockbox was easy to use with the code given a couple of days before. The owners (after we rang them to explain we were lost) checked in on us to make sure we made it safely then explained how to use the hot tub. I noticed they popped in to all the houses to make sure all was OK. The place was immaculate and well equipped!

“Amazing in every word!”
The size of the cottage was perfect, as was the shower, the kitchen fully complete. Hygiene is sublime in the whole cottage! Additional plus where the curtains for the bed compartment, so you could create the real dark ;) And not to forget your own private hottub! We had an amazing time in Hvammur 4, and will certainly return. Takk Fyrir!

“Peace, quiet and a hot tub!”
Perfection! We booked this place for the hot tub and it didn't disappoint. There are 4 or 5 other cottages but the distance between them and fencing means that you still feel secluded. Inside the cottage was clean, the bed was comfortable and the alcove and curtain for the bed made it very cosy. But we spent most of our waking time outside - either in the hot tub or sitting on the veranda. Each cottage looks slighlty different (we were in the blue one) but I'm sure any would give you a brilliant stay

“A quiet place to relax”
The house was very clean and the kitchen was well furnished. Beds were comfortable. The hot tub outside was a plus, it was very relaxing spending some time there after a long day of hiking. There was also a barbecue outside for use. We would come again.

“Quiet location with relaxing hot tub”
The location is very quiet. It is nice to take a couple of baths in the hot tub during your stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds (incl couch) were comfortable.

Lovely, cosy and spacious, well equipped cabin. The hot tub is a great perk (at the right temperature, not too hot and definitely not too cool) available 24/24. We used it a few times especially after the long drives through the Westfjords. Great location if you want to feel close to nature.

“One of the best places to stay in Iceland!”
Maybe the best private house we stayed in Iceland! Wooden, warm and cosy with a hot tub outside! Very clean and comfortable! We stayed (one couple) for one night only and we wished that we stayed more! Extra bonus: the Northern Lights appeared while we were taking our bath in the hot tub outside!! Many thanks for the whole experience! Should be one of the first options to stay in Iceland!

Such a wonderful place. Isolated and quiet. The hottub was a lovely experience, facing the sunset on the mountain. We loved our stay there, the cabin is lovely, we wish we could have stayed longer.
