“Very pleasant stay”
We had a very pleasant stay at Casita Generis. The hotel is in a great location, with a beautiful view of the sea. We received a warm welcome and helpful recommendations from Kenneth. We highly recommend it. We’re sad to leave!

The view was nice, the bed comfy.The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and Kenneth, the Manager as well as in the Rancho Corcovado Restaurant were we took our breakfast and sometimes came back later for a cocktail.

“Our stay here was good, basic but was exactly what we needed for our Corcovado trip.”
It was very convenient for our trip to Corcovado as the boat picked us up about 200m from the accommodation. Room size was compact but bed was comfortable.

“Pura vida 😉👊”
It was lovely to receive a surprise room upgrade! The room had a great view of the beach and we enjoyed chilling in there. Free tea and coffee at all times was appreciated. Room was spacious and hot water shower worked well. Staff in the kitchen were so lovely and packed us a lunch for our day walk. Location was perfect, close enough to walk to town but far enough that we saw scarlet macaws in the trees! It was so convenient that all the boats dropped us and picked us up right outside the hotel.

“Comfortable getaway with ocean view”
The room was very clean with an amazing view. The bed was comfy and big. The property has an outdoor kitchen with a coffee machine and a stove. Filtered water was provided as well.

“Would definitely stay again, Right on the ocean”
Stayed in the One-Bedroom Apartment and Double Room with a View. The One Bedroom had a kitchenette on the outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. The fridge was in the unit. 1 king size bed, no tv. Real nice to cook a meal at the kitchen, there is a butcher in the last storefront in town and all the convenience stores have fresh veges. Kitchen is well stocked and able to cook most everything. Able to relax on the patio overlooking the ocean and watch movies on demand. Shower did not have hot water, but did not seem to mind since so warm, so the shower was refreshing. The air conditioning worked great. Patio had chairs and hammock to relax in. The Double Room was small and meant for a couple that is comfortable with each other. The WiFi was great, no issues, the router must have been set up correctly as able to stream whatever I wanted. Overlooking the ocean. Shower had plenty of hot water. The Double Room did have fans and by the middle of the night you were comfortable sleeping. Up early to do activities. Both rooms VERY clean and cleaned daily. Owner very helpful for whatever you need. Next time I would take a boat from Sierpe, since you don’t need a car at all in town. Also the road in is 25 km and not well maintained at all, takes over an hour from the main road to go over the unmaintained gravel road to Drake Bay. Also should have a solid spare tire, not a small/donut tire for the road in and out of Drake Bay.
