Perfect Stay Before Our Corcovado Adventure This was such a great place to stay before our trip to Corcovado National Park! The location is ideal—very close to the boat pickup point from Drake Bay, which made everything so easy and stress-free. We really appreciated the early breakfast prepared for us at 5:10 AM, giving us enough time to eat before departure. It was such a thoughtful touch and made a big difference. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, even storing our luggage safely while we spent the night in the park. That gave us real peace of mind. Highly recommended for anyone planning a visit to Corcovado!

The owner is a caring and nice woman, which prepares all of the food and offers transportation to and from the beach. She was very kind to us, helping in every situation, and an excellent cook; we had all meals there and it felt like home. The girl helping her was very nice and skillful. The hotel was clean and nice. I would definitely recommend it.

Personnel, very friendly and always ready to help en provide information. Very good breakfast and dinner.

Nancy was incredibly hospitable, and couldn't do enough to make my trip as comfortable as possible. The facilities are perfect with clean rooms, great AC, a hot shower, and multiple hammocks to while away your team in as you watch the birdlife flying over the canopy. Also breakfast is upper flexible - if you're up at 5am for a tour, she'll make you breakfast. If you're sleeping in til 10am, she'll make you breakfast! I also booked a snorkelling tour with her and it was fantastic! She also recommended the best restaurants in town and had other super valuable tips. Also her dog princessa captured my heart.

“Great place to stay”

Host was super friendly and gave recommendations on activities. Room was spacious. Nice shower. Hammocks to relax in the common area. We were able to plan a tour to Corcovado through them, which was great. We were even served breakfast before the tour at 5:15. There are some restaurants and a supermarket near by. Everything was great!

“Highly recommend”

This is a great place to stay in Drake Bay. The room is clean and the beds comfortable, there is hot water in the shower. Bianca dealt with us and she was super helpful and accommodating, not only that she cooked and served a 3 course meal, very tasty and the best value we had in Costa Rica. She served a great breakfast after 5am for us to give us plenty of time to make the Corcovado ferry. Highly recommend.

“Really perfect budget option in Drake Bay”

It was a very good surprise, because for a relatively small budget you get warm welcome, clean and comfortable room (far from the noise of more central places so we slept very well) and the dinner and breakfast were also really good. We would definitely come again.

The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and located in a quiet area. There is also a lovely common area with a hammock where you can relax, as well as use the fridge and kitchen. We also had the chance to enjoy a traditional dinner prepared by Nubia — it was absolutely exceptional! She went above and beyond to help us with everything, even arranging a safe place to park our car while we were in the park. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay before (and especially after) visiting Corcovado. “A beautiful stay with brilliant hosts Jessica and Nubia”

Breakfast is cooked by Jessica’s mum and is delicious! She made us pancakes and fresh fruit which we ate as the sun came up surrounded by monkeys. Jessica is a wonderful host! She texted us before we arrived to see if we needed to be picked up from the airport and gave us great local recommendations. The rooms are simple but clean and the aircon worked really well.

Pura Vida B&b is perfect for some days in BD. The common area is simply wonderful and the use of the kitchen great The room was Okey.
