“OK”
WiFi worked well and breakfast was ok. Once I got a second room it was clean and comfortable. The transfer from the airport was well organised and the driver was pleasant and friendly.

The furniture is very old but sufficiently comfortable, the rooms are very large, and the hotel is very centrally located, so the huge car park is an advantage.

“Uncomfortable”
The room was dirty the air conditioning was not working imagine how hot is douala.. cigarettes everywhere in the balcony !! Not enough towels .. spoke with the manager of the hotel her name is Melanie I sent her the video of the dirty room that I received!! She did not border to do something.. don’t waste your time going in this hotel.. by the way the moment we wake we was ready to leave this hotel don’t deserve 4 stars maybe 2

“The Sawa has returned to its old status as being a good middle class hotel in the centre of Douala”
They have significantly improved the hotel over the last years. It is obviously still old etc., but I find this quite charming.
