“Douai is a lovely little town with good restaurants. Not far off the autoroute.”
Breakfast was excellent, choice of continental or full English, croissants, jam, cake. Hosts spoke English and were very friendly and welcoming. Accomodation was clean, spacious and well equipped.

“No room at the Inn, no help with a room elsewhere!”
The location was so close to city center, it would have been wonderful had we been able to stay there.

“The perfect hotel with the perfect hosts.”
The room was spacious and on two levels, everything you needed, clean and comfortable. The welcome we received from our hosts was second to none. The lounge and breakfast room were so wonderfully decorated. The breakfast was something else, homemade carrot, orange and ginger juice, fabulous. Homemade bread, preserves, cinnamon pancakes, and cake. Also pastries, local cheese that was to die for. I really didn’t want to leave. Really exceptional.

A beautiful house and a lovely welcome from the owner and her husband. Despite being in the town centre it was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional. Both our hosts were very kind and helpful.

“Wonderful residence and fantastic service”
We have never experienced such wonderful service, the owners were very welcoming and the residence was very sophisticated, tasteful, comfortable and clean. Fantastic breakfast also, just perfect. Highly recommend!!
