“Wonderful place to stay cannot wait to return.”
Everything! A wonderful old property with beautiful period pieces. Very spacious and extremely clean. The bed was vast and the bathroom modern and well appointed. Breakfast was sumptuous and served at a grand table. Parking is easy and very safe plus it’s near to the town centre. Hosts are very friendly.

Location is excellent, easy to find, and private car parking. Close to the centre of Douai and all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was amazing, it was very fresh as most was bought that morning, and there was lots of choice. Rooms are beautiful, as is the house, they are very spacious and clean. Hosts are very welcoming

“Quaint old castle decorated with artifacts for those who like this sort of thing.”
Once we got in it was very nice. Host very friendly and helpful. Private garden lovely - though unfortunately rainy weather prevented taking advantage. Very quiet. Very calm. Interesting artefacts to see in house. Spacious room with very comfortable bed. Good heating and good shower. Good recommendations for excellent nearby restaurant. Quality ingredients in breakfast - real fresh orange juice for example. Not for those who like something modern though.

“Fabulous building with exceptional service. Wonderful, will go back.”
The building is incredible with lots of outdoor space and close to the town.Rooms are very large with lovely old furniture. What really made our stay was the exceptional service. Charles the manager was very informative and gave us lots of details about the history of the house as he showed us around,and had enormous enthusiasm. Breakfast was really good if a bit pricey. Can’t wait to go back again

The breakfast a bit too sparse. No cheese or ham, just an egg and viennoisserie. The viennoiserie was excellent but we would have preferred something else as well, for that price.

“Actual mansion experience”
It is a real mansion with astonishing chamber rooms, flamboyantly decorated reminiscent of the XVIII century. Staff is really professional and helpful and breakfast is very good although expensive
