L'Horloge Gourmande is located 2 km from the centre of Donzère, beside the Rhône River, and 20 km from the Château de Grignan. “booking com did fail to provide adequate service.”
Booking com did book this Hotel by mistake - on sunday it is not open- so there was no restaurant and breakfast. The Hotel managment was very polite and extremely courteous.

“Great welcome for cycling group”
We were immediately made welcome at reception. The rooms were a good size. We had an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant and the service was very good. A small kindness in offering the 5 of us a bottle of water as we departed.

We stayed for one night during a transit trip by car, so a great advantage of the hotel was having its own closed parking lot. The room was clean. I was especially pleased with the hearty breakfast, which definitely cost its money. I'm sure I'll use the hotel services in the future.

This a family run hotel and they can't do enough for you. The evening meal is delicious and varied, the hotel is spotless clean, the rooms and facilities were perfect as a base to Provence. As I was out for work, unfortunately my clothes got dirty (long story) and it was leaving me short of clean clothes. But when I spoke with the family she showed me the laundry room and 2 hours later crisis was over, no charge! Day of check out I requested a taxi to Pierrelatte train station and they drove me there again for no cost! Will definitely be back and recommending to my work colleagues who travel to this area regularly. Thank you for all your fabulous hospitality, Natalina

“Excellent”
I’m really happy I found this place on my way to South France. It is the second year I spend a night there and it was exactly what i needed to spend the night. Clean, friendly, not too expensive, easy parking. The perfect place to stay
