“A very quiet gem”

We had a very spacious room and ditto bathroom. Excellent rainforest shower. Plenty of hooks which most places where we have stayed lacked. We had our own outside sitting area. The proprietress, Fabienne, made us very welcome and also cooked us a very good dinner. Great pool, too.

Comfortable room with own patio. Fabienne extremely friendly and helpful. The swimming pool looked enticing but sadly not yet warm enough and n may to brave the water.

What a host (Fabiene). She is adorable who is the proud owner of La Deveniere. Secure parking available and once through the gates you are transported to another world. Fabiene is the perfect host and makes you feel most welcome and she even provided us with a well earned 'cup of tea' on our arrival. Fabiene recommended a local restaurant and made us a reservation due to our limited french. Our breakfast was a feast to behold and so much to choose from, we were spoilt for choice. Nothing was too much trouble for Fabiene and she even managed to find some gluten free bread for us,(the best we have ever tasted) at the last minute. We all felt like we had made a friend for life and we plan to return next year so that we can practice our French.

Very friendly owner and so quiet place, the breakfast is good owner make her own jam and good fresh orange juice! We arrived around 19:00u and we can still swimming the water is warm and our room is near swimming pool and refrigerator which you can take a drinks. We have a good stay here and it’s our 2nd time stay sure we come back always our favourite to stop overnight!

We were delighted with our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality and charming accommodation. We were also very glad to have dinner at la Devinière, which was delicious! Breakfast was also great with freshly squeezed fruit juice, home made jams and fresh croissants. I would whole-heartedly recommend staying here to my friends.

“Beautiful property indoors”

The honest is a lovely young lady. The house inside is absolutely stunning. It’s a three storey house and has no lift so it was difficult carrying up our belongings. Unfortunately the bathroom was not en-suite so we had to cross the landing. Thankfully we were the only guests so at least we didn’t have to share the bathroom. I suggested to the host that she should look into putting in USB’s Florence, the young lady is doing the property up. The gardens, the pool and the tennis court is in a bad state and when she finishes refurbishing everything it will be fabulous.

Breakfast was superb. It was a lovely and peaceful stay. The swimming pool was a great way to relax. Nearby Donzère was a really interesting place to visit and view the amazing bridge.

Wonderful warm welcome in a beautiful setting with a marvellous swimming pool. The accommodation was spotless and everything was provided.

The hostess and her son were very welcoming and helpful. A great place to decompress and relax. Food was excellent.

Quiet and peaceful. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Evening meal we had booked was delicious. Room was spacious, with large tv and comfy chairs, beds very comfortable. Wi-Fi had a strong signal. We only stayed one evening as we had to travel onward but could easily have spent more time there. Continental breakfast was more than we needed. An electric gated entrance and easy parking makes you feel secure. A lovely big property surrounded by trees and plants.

The location is very green and quiet, warm host and really nice breakfast! The room was spacious with a private terrace, enjoyed staying there a lot!
