I did not like this hotel. I chose it for the wellness, but i was disappointed. The wellness is located at 3 different floors, not convienient. At -1.level, in the basement are the saunas. The low ceiling, no natural light do not make it relaxing nor nice. The cold plunge pool not cold enough. I was the only guest there though, and the saunas did function well. There is a single big jacuzzi in the middle of a room, separately on ground floor. Then more stairs to go up to swimming pool. Children were playing there. Also, breakfast is very poor. I asked them for gluten free options when reserving, they said they had, but there was no gf bread or cake or anything. I asked for a calm room, away from ventilation and heating noises. They put me on 3rd floor (that's ok), but overlooking ventilation systems. When I specitically asked not to have that. Maybe a whole 10 rooms were booked in the hotel, like 30%, or 20%<, so they could have easily give me a room looking towards town, with a view, but no. The bed is very soft, i did not mind that., + pillows are small. It's not worth your money, too expensive for 100 eur/night alone. I wish i had chosen a much cheaper accomodation. Also, foodwise Donovaly is not great. Bystra, and Wellness Hotel Bystra under Chopok is a much much better hotel, better wellness, better breakfast! Keep away from Donovaly, it is a tourist trap.

“A comfortable well appointed apartment with underground parking”

The apartment is of a good size, well equipped and clean. It is in a good area with a couple of restaurants within a few minutes walk and it has underground parking. We enjoyed our one night here but do have a couple of points to make. The bed was very soft compared to what we are used to, but that is just us. My wife works online and likes to prop herself up in bed at the end of the day and get done work done. Unfortunately we found that the Wi-Fi would not work in the bedroom so had to go back into the lounge area.

Nice interior, staff - especially the day shift lady at reception on day of our departure! Also staff at restaurant was nice. Rich selection of various possibilities in wellness centrum - 4 different types of sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi and other, everything included in price of stay.

Good as always, we are returning guests. The location is excellent the hotel is well equipped and the wellnes area is cozy and relaxing. The breakfast is enough, however the dinner could be alacarte not just buffet.

We have been here some years before and luckily we could book again. Breakfast, wellness, cleanliness, location and interior design is still good quality. Thanks to the Genius program we could stay in a more spacious room. Maintenance is on a good standard as we see, housekeeping deserves 5* (I tell you as an ex-supervisor :)). Breakfast is fresh, variety for everybody's taste , filling up is continuous.
