Giovanna and Doriano made our stay unforgettable in this beautifully restored villa in one of the most authentic settlements at Lago di Como. Everything exceeded our expectations: the location, the building and its garden, our room, the food , the hospitality. It was the most pleasurable stay of my life so far. The building and its garden is thoughtfully restored and decorated, with an eye on detail and authenticity. The breakfast is fabulous: locally sourced, handpicked food. I cannot imagine better immersion into local culture and pace. Our hosts made sure that we make the most out of our 1-night stay, their recommendations for aperitivo and dinner were perfect.

“Exceptional and hospitable place”

A beautiful villa with lots of history which was explained to us. The owners were absolutely lovely, interested in our holiday and were more than happy to give recommendations. The room was clean and comfortable, we had a lovely night's sleep. Modern bathroom as well was a plus! The best for last, the breakfast was absolutely incredible both mornings, lovely jam, bread, cheese and meat spread, and tea, coffee, fresh fruit juice, fresh yoghurt and homemade cakes. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay, simply exceptional. We'd love to come back.

Amazing opportunity to stay in an historic Italian villa and to be served breakfasts in the lush tranquil garden. The owners went to great lengths to make us feel very welcome, served local and hand-made produce and gave us great advice on the local history of Dongo, activities and places of interest.

Perfect, familiar Hosts, tasty breakfast with local products and homebaking cake and Croissants. If its nice weather we had breakfast in the wondrfull garden. Room is old fashioned because of a 15th hundred Villa but clean and a brand new Bathroom. 100m to the centre place and Lake with shops and restaurants. Absolut gem in Dongo. Grazie mille for this wonderful stay.

Doriana and Giovanna were excellent hosts and super helpful, the breakfast was a particular highlight - prepared by Doriana and Giovanna every morning. The fruit was fresh and the cheese and meat platter was amazing. Giovanna also bakes cakes which were very tasty as part of the morning breakfast. We really appreciated the care that the hosts put into the property!
