We had a lovely stay here at bamboo house. Rooms were as expected, basic but clean and comfortable. Host was lovely. Close to food, shops, beach.

The host (very good English)was lovely. Really helpful and trusting. There's a 'help yourself, pay later" bar, which is ace when you want a beer, but there's no one around. You just make a note of it on the pad at the (rooftop) bar. Brilliant. + the view!

“Lovely one night stay close to the beach”
Property right on the beach, really nice rooftop, it was low season so the restaurant wasn't open so couldn't give an opinion on the food, really calm atmosphere, shower really hot!

It’s clean, the host is very nice and caring and the location is good. A bike can be used for free. Price for value is great - of course it’s not luxurious but it’s everything you want for the price. Can’t judge the noise level from other guests because I was alone in the dorm room.

The rooftop bar is really cozy and it has a nice view, drinks are cheap and even in bad weather it was a nice place to hang out. I did the paradise and dark cave tour which is highly recomandable

I had an amazing stay at this lovely homestay! The room was beautifully set up, clean, and incredibly comfortable — the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. They offer free bicycles, which made it super easy to get around, and the beach is just a short ride away, making the location absolutely ideal. One of my favorite parts was the rooftop — a peaceful, breezy spot to unwind, enjoy the sunrise, or simply take in the quiet atmosphere. The homestay also organizes tours to the gorgeous caves in Phong Nha, which was a fantastic experience and very convenient. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. Wonderful service, great location, and a warm, welcoming vibe. Highly recommended!

“10th February 2025”
Mr Bamboo was an excellent host. He was friendly and interesting to talk to, with much personal knowledge about the area around Dong Hoi. He had a wonderful roof top veranda with the sound of the surf only separated from us by the front road. On the cool nights, he lit a brazier, and we had a cozy and welcome fire to drink our beers by. Absolutely first class! 😀

It was bang for buck. The host (Mr Bamboo) facilitated a lot of things such as my cave trip, bike and bus to Hanoi which made my trip a whole lot easier and afforded me the time to have fun.

“AMAZING HOST !!!”
I had an amazing experience staying at Bamboo's House in Dong Hoi! The room service was top-notch, and the staff made sure everything was clean and comfortable throughout my stay. Mr. Toan on the travel desk was incredibly helpful in organizing day tours, making it super easy to explore the area. Located Infront of the beach are the best things, creating a great vibe to meet fellow travelers. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dong Hoi! 10/10

“I recently stayed at Bamboo House and had a fantastic experience, highly recommended”
The dorm room was exceptionally clean, which made my stay very comfortable. I especially loved the rooftop area—it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful views during sunrise time. Being just a short walk from Nhat Le Beach was a huge plus, allowing me to enjoy the sun and Sup (Sand up Paddle) whenever I wanted. The availability of free bicycles was a wonderful perk, making it easy to explore the nearby area. Additionally, the staff offered motorbike rentals and provided excellent tour guide services, which helped me discover the best local attractions without any hassle. I
