Der Öschberghof Golf Resort des Jahres 2024 is a golf, wellness and conference hotel situated in Donaueschingen between the Black Forest, Switzerland and Lake Constance in southern Germany. Everything! The staff were incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional. The spa, gym and golfing facilities were excellent, well maintained, top of the range.

Once upgraded the room was incredibly beautiful and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, spacious balcony, large shower, great product for self care. The spa is one of the most beautiful ever been!

“Exceptional experience with a fair price.”
Amazing experience. The Suite rooms in the annex/dependence deliver great comfort besides being isolated from the main building (2mns walking max). The place is quiet and offers a nice view over the golf area. And you get extra preparation in the room if you have a dog (dogs are not allowed in the main building). The SPA is speechless. 4 different atmospheres, the infinity outdoor pool and the indoor pool (water could have been a bit warmer inside and in the jacuzzi) are big. I did not try the Gym but I had a look and it was well above standards. The breakfast is a mix of continental breakfast with local specialties. We went to the Övenhütte for the dinner. The place is nice and many local dishes are on the menu. Better to book a table in advance, especially for early dinner. This restaurant is also a 15/20mns walking distance from the hotel.

“A true 5 star hotel”
A true 5 star hotel: From the first class (and friendly) check-in to the quality of every fixture and fitting, this is a really impressive hotel. I particularly liked the gym facilities. A huge range of high end equipment, and there was a separate room to use for yoga/ personal exercise (when not used for classes), the pool was lovely with many places to sit or lounge by. The restaurant was beautiful. The food was healthy and inventive, the wine selection impressive. Every member of staff I met was helpful and friendly .
