The host Mia was absolutely wonderful, very caring and thoughtful. The property is beautifully appointed and maintained. It is a 5 star accomodation. Beds are super comfy and all the sky lights have electric blinds!!! The peace and solitude of the location is amazing , the only sound is your breath and the birds . Walking the grounds was so relaxing. The villas are fully self contained with any thing you should need for a wonderful stay.

The property was immaculate. Everything was finished to the highest standard. It was beautifully maintained and Mia was on hand to assist with any questions or information. It was located in a stunning part of the Dordogne. We loved our stay.

We had a truly exceptional stay at Chateau Giverzac with our family, friends and dog. Mia the owner and host is very passionate about restoring the property to a very high standard and each gite is beautifully appointed with antique furniture and art, each gite has its own seating area and BBQ perfect for entertaining. The pool is sublime and the chateau grounds are just gorgeous, it is a paradise! During your stay you would definitely need a car, and there are many of the most beautiful dordogne villages within 10-20 minutes drive. Mia is filled with recommendations, and her recommendation list of restaurants and boulangeries was perfect, we went to quite a few and were always impressed - also great to not have to spend any time researching where to eat! Mia is a welcoming host and we felt completely at home. We stayed for two weeks and honestly could have stayed for two more, there is so much to do in the region and the hours fly by relaxing on the property as well. Good to pack coals and fire starters so you can use the BBQ. There is a Carrefour 10 minutes drive away for your basic groceries and lots of more boutique shops and of course weekly markets in the villages for fresh market vegetables, local honey, local wine, meats and cheeses etc which we would highly recommend exploring as the quality is amazing and prices are better.

This place was amazing. Literally jaw-dropping. Nothing is overlooked. Gorgeous property, every detail thought of, lush bedding and towels, spacious, immaculate, with views and property that will make you feel like a king and queen. The pool was a godsend as we arrived on the hottest day of the year. It was only one night but hope to come back someday. Communication was easy and timely as well. Host was gracious.
