“Stunning location, friendly hosts, comfortable bedrooms, amazing garden, breakfast, pool & hot tub.”

This is an incredible property in a superb location inside Domme's ramparts and next to one of the main 'gate'/entrances, with a beautiful mature garden and incredible views over the countryside. Free parking outside was a bonus. The tasteful and traditionally decorated bedrooms and bathrooms were large and well appointed and aircon in the bedrooms useful for hot days. However, it is the warm and friendly welcome you receive from owners Helen and Francois (and their four cute little dogs) that makes this property really stand out. They are happy to offer tips for the local area too. You feel like you are welcomed house guests, not just paying to stay in a hotel or B&B. Their generous breakfast, served under the trees in their garden was delicious and plentiful and the hot tub and small plunge pool were perfect at the end of a hot and busy day of sight-seeing. Why stay anywhere else in Domme or the local area?

Everything about our stay was delightful. Friendly and welcoming hosts, large comfortable room, lovely bathroom, beautiful garden with a small pool and views. Delicious breakfasts in the garden. Hosts gave useful information about where to go and suggested restaurants, Parking place was really helpful.

“A little piece of heaven”

Probably the best place we've had the pleasure to stay at. We had the garden room. The views were fabulous, my wife adored the decor and the beautiful garden. The pool and jacuzzi were fab too. We also loved the little posse of long haired Jack Russell's who were super friendly. Domme as a village is great, not loads to do and lots of the restaurants shut on an evening, but as a place to chill and relax it was amazing. Just what we needed. The panoramic view from the top of the village is worth going for on its own.

“Beautiful Domme”

The whole place was absolutely delightful. A wonderful old beautiful building, tastefully decorated with carefully curated objects d'art. Very comfortable with access to the library and garden. Attentive hosts made our group of 4 couples all feel very welcome and at home. Parking for our 4 classic cars was key to our booking. Breakfast was delicious, a feast for the eyes as much as for the stomach. The location was perfect for accessing Domme, particularly important for a short stay.

Perfect location, lovely views. Gorgeous garden. Excellent facilities. Our garden room was huge and wonderfully appointed with a very comfortable bed. Francois and Helen were extremely hospitable and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was magnificent. I highly recommend this.

“A hidden paradise in the Dordogne”

In an idyllic, peaceful setting, this boutique hotel had a very pretty garden with far reaching panoramic views across the valley. Charming, helpful hosts made us feel at home with them, their three friendly little dogs, and cat roaming the garden. The excellent wifi signal extends all the way to the pool; but with the pool and whirlpool designed for relaxation you shouldn’t need it here. There is a cosy sitting room guests can use, but with the summer heat the garden and pool were more tempting. Breakfast is superb with fresh quality produce, attentively served by François. Indeed there is loving attention to detail everywhere in the decor and comfort. Everything is quality from the coffee pot at breakfast, to the tasteful wallpaper and decor, to the toilet paper. Importantly, the bed was a supering size and very comfortable. Air conditioning was effective and both a safe and a fridge in the room added to the convenience. Guests are invited to make themselves picnics in the garden and the host will provide plates and cutlery - so welcoming, in a gentle way. As we had arrived at the airfield in a small plane François kindly collected us and brought us back again after our stay.

Extremely friendly owners who could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Lovely large room with plenty of storage, sitting places etc. Weather was not kind so could not use either the swimming pool or the hot tub but could see their value during hot weather. Excellent location with private parking a short distance away. Delicous breakfast.

Domme is a fabulous location and 1 Logis a Domme is a fabulous place from which to enjoy it. Can't fault anything -room clean and spacious, facilities excellent, hosts beyond welcoming and garden a slice of paradise. A real home from home. The accommodation was very high quality and tradionally french with wonderful antique furniture. Excellent shower and comfortable beds. The pool and hot tub were excellent features in a beautiful garden. The breakfast was very good. The owners were charming and helpful.

“Wonderful, warm welcome from the hosts, perfect location”

The location made it easy to explore Domme and we didn't use the car in our couple of days there. We were lucky to get parked right outside the guest house but were told there was free parking a little further up the village if needed. The hosts were wonderful and gave us a very warm welcome. The room was really big and sympathetically decorated in a rustic french style. The garden was idyllic and we also used the hot tub which was nice and secluded and available all day. The breakfast had a great choice of items including fruits, yoghurt, pastries, bread, ham, cheese, eggs etc and was presented really well.
