A beautiful property in a tranquil setting. We wished we could have stayed longer. We had a spacious bedroom with lovely views and enjoyed the large rustic lounge. Breakfast was excellent. The owners could not have been more welcoming and made us tea on arrival. We’d definitely stay here again.

Richard, Victoria and their boys are the most wonderful hosts, welcoming us into their home like old friends. The room was absolutely gorgeous, comfortable and very French! The breakfast was delicious with lots of different options to suit everyone. In the evening a meal cooked by the hosts is optional but definitely a great option. All the meals were delicious accompanied by wine chosen by Richard which he continuously topped up, whilst Victoria came round with extra sauce! The grounds are beautiful and the family grow lots of the veg they serve. They can’t do enough for you and we were very sad to leave such a beautiful spot!

Extremely helpful, letting us know the best route into the town Offered us a home cooked evening meal at exceptional value and saved booking a meal in town and taxi. It was lovely to chat to the othr 4 guests staying too.

We had a 4 night stay in a cottage on this beautiful site to break our journey to Caen. It really was a home from home, well equipped, comfortable & in a tranquil setting with lovely grounds, which you're free to wander. It's well placed for Domfront & Bagnoles sur L'Orne, too. Victoria & Richard are wonderful hosts, helpful & informative. We had an excellent home cooked meal on our last night. Very good value for money. Thanks .

Excellent breakfast and evening meal. Perfect location for us to make a one night stop on our way south situated in attractive countryside while being close enough to Domfront for us to explore the medieval town before moving on.

Richard and Victoria were great hosts, helpful but not intrusive and their chambres d'hote was a great place to stay on our cycling trip. We stayed in the little self contained studio cottage in the garden and we loved the feeling of being close but apart from the main house. The bed and sofa were comfortable and the shower spacious. The small kitchen was enough to make some quick meals with food that Richard kindly shopped for us. Victoria helped us with washing our cycling gear too! The breakfasts were generous and varied with good gluten free options and egg choices and home grown raspberries. We were so pleased to have been recommended.this stay and would love to return on another cycle trip. Thank you Richard and Victoria.
