“Wonderful”

We stayed there for a whole week, and everything was just perfect. The location of the hotel is splendid for exploring the area. From arrival until we left there was nothing we could complain about. The room was cozy and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent, everything we needed to start the day. Fresh juice, pancakes, almond cake, French toast, eggs, cheese, ham, etc. if something was missing the owner Olivier was happy to assist. We can highly recommend staying there.

The property is absolutely lovely, but the thing that really makes the place special is its host Oliver. I broke down on the motorway and limped my way to his since it was the closest place to stay. Oliver welcomed me in at about 11pm! Then in the morning, Oliver helped me to jumpstart my car and took me to the local Garage. He then helped me to translate, and over the course of a couple of days I got my car fixed and was back on my way. On top of this, the property itself is lovely! So, the team go out of their way to help their guests. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone. I am now planning to stay here again on my way back to the UK.

My family and I spent three nights at Le 49. The region around Domblans was unknown to us and we were surprised how beautiful it was and how much it had to offer. The rooms at Le 49 are extremely spacious, clean, modern and very nice. The park belonging to the property was very big and well kept and we really enjoyed the pool. Our host Oliver made our stay perfect. He was very attentive and caring, making us feel very welcome. We can only recommend Domblans and Le 49 and if you stay there be sure to try the host’s homemade almond cake for breakfast.

Very nice little hotel in the Jura where you will not find a lot of these boutique style hotels. Good decoration and an eye for details.

“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”

The family suite was beautiful. Plenty of room for two adults and two teenagers. Breakfast was superb – with freshly-made pancakes, French toast and locally-produced jams. And the sauna and heated outdoor pool were ideal amenities after a long drive from the coast. Oliver couldn't have been a more hospitable and gracious host. He recommended a fabulous restaurant and reserved a table for us on request. On the morning of our departure, he gave us many local insights and recommended we visit Baume-les-Messieurs before we departed the area. Glad we followed his advice. That's a particularly enchanting little town.

Property is excellent, everything is new and clean, swimming pool is great and also the sauna area. The owner is very nice and helpful. breakfast is excellent too!

Beautiful location with modern, quality facilities and very tastefully decorated. A lovely pool, large garden and very comfortable room. A delicious French breakfast efficiently served on the terrace with locally sourced cheese and ham, and home made preserves, brioche and cake. Very charming and friendly owners running a family business and keen to help with advice on areas to visit and restaurants to experience.

Such a peaceful setting in a quiet village location

We travel a lot in the world, it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Attention to the smallest details. I wish we could have stayed longer... Just perfect!
