A beautiful old Venetian Villa with a lovely garden full of history and class

Fantastic atmosphere, the room was clean and cozy, with high ceilings, comfortable pillows and blankets. I slept very well. Convenient parking on the hotel grounds.

Villa Ducale is undeniably charming, with a beautiful setting and the timeless atmosphere of an old Italian residence. The building itself has character and history, though it now shows a little wear and would benefit from a gentle refresh to restore its full splendour. The staff, however, were truly wonderful — attentive, welcoming, and always ready to assist. I even received my Negroni at 11 p.m., which says much about their hospitality. The room was comfortable, and the bed provided a good night’s rest. Breakfast was modest — not remarkable, but sufficient for a pleasant start to the day. Overall, I would rate it around 8 out of 10. A lovely place with heart and history, just in need of a touch of renewal to match its potential.

The building is very grand inside and out, the photos really do not do it justice! We had the most comfortable sleep, perfectly comfortable bed and the air con was good! Excellent value for money and the staff are lovely.

Best location. Beautiful garden, parking, the atmosphere of italian villa

The Villa Ducale is a beautiful old villa on the outskirts of Dolo. The rooms are huge and airy and have a real sense of history and grandeur. The staff here are excellent and went above and beyond to be helpful, really impressive. We watched a concert here, held outside under a canopy, and it was such a lovely setting. This is an old property which could maybe be spruced up a little.

Close to a bus stop, and the hotel wasn’t very busy. Breakfast was very pleasant and the service was good. Lovely air conditioning too!

“Great place for a calm and comfortable stay”

The staff was super friendly with us and even our pet :) The rooms were tidy clean and very comfortable. There were plenty of green areas to walk our dog and the hotel is just 30mins away from the airport!

I had a really good stay—perfect for daily trips to Venice. The villa offers free, safe parking and the bus station is just a few steps away, which made getting into the city super convenient. The interior is beautiful and charming. While some reviews mention that the place feels old and could use renovation, I found it to be authentic and full of character. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely come again. Thank you for the lovely experience!
