We stayed at Bettines's B&B in Dolce Aqua for several days, experiencing the Beauty of the Countryside & the rhythm of village life. It's a "vanished" rhythm - a nostalgia for something today that we've never really had, hardly touched by change. At night, only the sounds of an ancient building & dark narrow alleyways under a ruined castle. You will be submerged by ancient stones. And then there is Bettine, who greets you every morning with the most beautiful smile which says "Nothing is too much trouble"! Her breakfast is divine. She brings her newly baked fruit tart over "Monet's" bridge to you from her house across the river below. Through breakfast a piano tinkles away, the frescoes (discovered during renovation) complete the atmosphere. Italian voices break the stillness, & the river below splashes on the stones. “Live the medieval village life with the 20th century confort with amazing hosts that still care...!”

The owners are extremely caring about the guests (this is a couple). They have done that for years and still care. Breakfast is amazing, generous, and with many choices (and you don't have to choose !! can have it all...). There is a fantastic terrace overlooking the castle and the river. As far as the location, well, you cannot live the experience of a medieval village better than this. Trust me, eyes closed, go there, you will not regret. My room was a paramount of silence, but no view.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable room at a great price. The view from the roof terrace is amazing! Delicious breakfast with homemade mandarin jam and cake. The owners were very friendly and kind. Highly recommended!

What a lovely charming romantic BB. The room exceeded all expectations and was extremely comfortable. Our hostess was absolutely wonderful, kind and generous. We had a picnic lunch on a gorgeous rooftop garden with views of the castle and the river. Our breakfast was delicious, with a huge selection beautifully served. We just wished that we could have stayed here longer.

This place is amazing! Located in the heart of this beautiful town. It feels like you are traveling through the time! Absolutely stunning experience. Room was clean and comfortable, with everything you needed. Host is very friendly and welcoming! Breakfast was delicious and with the wonderful view. Highly recommend!

This is a true gem, the photos barely do it justice. Located at the heart of the old town, we felt right at home with the warm welcome by the host. The house's super cute decor and unique style made it such a memorable stay. Love to return!

We really loved this place. The location is wonderful, in the beautiful old part of Dolceacqua. The apartment had a nice view on the old bridge. We couldn't reach it by car but there are plenty of car parking facilities nearby. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing! Bettina had something freshly baked each morning and the omelettes are just perfect. I would recommend everyone who goes to Dolceacqua to stay in this unique place.

The property is beautifully furnished and has everything a traveller needs including AC. The owner was very nice, she prepared an excellent breakfast, showed great hospitality and gave us some good tips on where to travel to, and where to eat out.
