We stayed for one night whilst on a motorcycle tour. The host was friendly and welcoming, he's also a biker. The room was clean and comfortable with an en suite bathroom and suited our needs for a single night stay.

We booked and had good experience for check in. The owner is fluent in English as well as the native French. We received useful explanations. The property is a large house and you enter the room from the courtyard. The courtyard is nice. The room was very big, big bathroom, quite nice. It's very quiet. Breakfast was served a bit earlier to accommodate our schedule, that was very helpful - fresh pastry, butter, jam, drinks.

Dol-de-Bretagne isa regular first stop on any visit to Brittany and I was pleased with my first stay in this accommodation. The owner is developing other accommodation on the property but my room met my needs perfectly. Probably "no frills" but a very acceptable stopover and a decent breakfast. The host is extremely personable and helpful. Being within striking distance of this historic and charming town a distinct bonus.
