“Perfect stay in a charming home decorated in a typical French style”

Lovely room in the family home which is a modern detached villa in the outsirts of the town (10 walk to bars & restuarants). Free secure parking on site. The hosts were lovely, and although they didn't speak English, and our French is a bit limited we managed to communicate okay with the help of their grandaughter!! Lovely room with ensuite, clean nice towels etc. Breakfast was excellent, juice, fruit, breads, croissants, cheese, very nice. We would stay there again, can't say better than that. We had a fabulous evening meal in the local hotel, Hotel de Bretagne in the town square, don't go anywhere else, pork cheeks were unbelievable, as were the oysters, and pudding, yum.

Marie et Jean François are very kind hosts. The room is in their house, and breakfast is served in their wonderful living-room. They are ready to help you with advises about nice restaurants and sightseeings in the region. The room is confortable and equipped with a private bathroom. Breakfast is simply delicious! We hope to visit them again!

“Amazing stay”

Our hosts were wonderful. They are fantastic people. We felt very welcomed in their home. What a pretty home! We stayed in the triple room, which is a very private corner with own shower and toilet. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of personal touches and home made treats that makes it memorable. I highly recommend it.

The house is incredibly comfortable and exceptionally clean. Home made breakfast with local product is also top quality. The atmosphere in Marie and Jean François' place is unique and the hosts are very kind and helpful.

Marie and Jean Francois were excellent hosts. Our room was beautifully clean and had the benefit of air conditioning. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our French is pretty basic and our hosts spoke only a few words of English however we were able to enjoy interesting conversations. They seemed genuinely interested in us and that we enjoyed our stay. We would thoroughly recommend Chez Marie et Jean Francois for a short break or stop over. The small town of Dol de Bretagne was a good base for visiting the coast east of St. Malo.

“Fab stay at this great B&B”

We had a great couple of nights with Marie and Jean François. The room is comfortable and very clean. We booked it for our ferry home but it was a great location for visiting the coast and local towns. We had a great day exploring. It is only a 20 min walk to Dol de Bretagne for something to eat. We were given a really early breakfast so we had plenty of time to catch our ferry. Thank you both for your kindness. We would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Jean-Francois and and Marie were exceptionally accommodating, allowing for an early check in and doing their utmost to facilitate my requests. They were kind and attentive, the house was beautifully clean and breakfast was excellent.
