“A lovely short stay”

Mustafa was such a friendly and welcoming host. We chose to have dinner and breakfast during our stay and it was the most delicious home-cooked meal. We were also super lucky, with the weather clearing and there were no clouds obstructing Mount Ararat. Great location outside of town, and it was ideal for us as a short break during our road trip. It was nice to just have a chill afternoon wandering around with the chickens, ducks and cat!

Dedo Sebo Pansiyon is a unique homestay type experience in the most exquisite environment just outside Doğubeyazıt. The host, Mustafa, could not be more welcoming and responsive. The home cooked meals were delicious and transport to nearby attractions was easily facilitated.

The location is fantastic with a beautiful view of mountain Agri/Ararat. It is outside the city and very quiet with trees, swings, and chickens. The rooms are simple and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The food is good.

the house is the most pictoresque home of all Dogubeyazit! a stunning view on the Ararat and you can see also the old palace. All the people here are friendly and they made me feel like at home. I can easily say that this house made my stay in Dogubeyazit a beautiful experience. It is a twenty minutes walk off the city center, but i can assure you that it is worth!!!

The host, food and location

On my trip through Eastern Turkey this was the most affordable place and probably the place I most enjoyed staying at. Wonderful views of the mountain, great food, good company in Mustafa, who speaks English and German and will assist with good advice for travelling the area. Being just outside town, overlooking everything, it is quiet at night, providing excellent sleep quality.

I wish I knew how amazing this place is, I would book at least 3 nights and arrange my travel accordingly. Mr. Mustafa is extremely kind person. This cutest guesthouse is decorated traditionally, with a huge terrace with direct view on Mt. Ararat (Ağrı Dağı). Our room had a private bathroom and a spectucalar view from our window on the mountain. The homemade dinner and breakfast with “menemen” was so delicious. We were really sad to leave the next day. I wish we could spend more time on the awesome terrace with these nice people.

Very beautiful location in the wild steppe. Amazing hospitality of Mustafa and his family. We have slept in typical curdish room with a breat-taking panorama on Ararat Mountain. Typical curdish dinner and breakfast too. I reccomend strongly these experience.

Mr Mustafa is very kind and we got a great dinner and breakfast. There is a cozy terrace with a great view on the Ararat Mountain.

This place is a home, Mustafa and his wife are kind people. The view from all the angles of the house is breathtaking. You can have breakfast or dinner at the property and they are incredibly good.

Mustafa was the perfect host! I had a great time here, the location is beautiful and peaceful. The food was incredible, I miss this place already.

If you want the REAL experience in Dogubeyazit to see the mountains in Dogubeyazit, and see Mount Ararat without any restrictions, THIS IS the homestay! THANK YOU to Mustafa for hosting us for 1x night with her wife who made delicious home cooked Kofte! Met another couple who was also staying at Dede Sabo, and we learned that "Dede" means "grandfather". Mustafa was constantly texting and checking in on us to ensure we arrived safely. Yes, driving to this place might be a little scary at night because of the cliffs, but in the morning, it's worth it! A place for travelers and those who seek to depart from the touristic places!
