“A beautiful hotel, in the vines of Slovenia”
Our room was exceptionally large and beautiful from a design perspective, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was also excellent, both wait staff and chef. A real highlight was the cellar.

Slovenian Toscana. Similar to our Croatian Istria. Beautiful surroundings. The owner Darko is very friendly, gave us lot of tips about premium Slovenian sparkling and still wines. Most of the very impressive Slovenian wineries are just few minutes from the hotel. Hotel itself has one of the most beautiful vinotheques we have ever been, and we have been around.... Hotel proudly presents its very refined Michelin star aspiring Restaurant which we warmly recommend

Dinner was superb. Room spacious, clean, well-equipped, quiet and comfortable. Staff were very nice when you could find them, but there was no-one on reception when we arrived (6pm) and guests had difficulty checking out the following morning because there was no-one on the desk for long periods

We got married in this hotel a year ago so we obviously love it! It's beautiful and the restaurant is amazing. However, it has recently changed owners, and when we spent a night here for our anniversary we were surprised at the lack of staff. There was nobody at the front desk in the evening, nobody to serve drinks in the terrace, the waitress at the restaurant didn't even speak Slovenian etc. The price for the room is also quite inflated, but it's true every place in the vicinity is almost as expensive in high season. All in all, we might come back in a few years for nostalgic reasons, but I really hope the staff situation improves by then.

“A lovely spot surrounded by vineyards and views.”
A lovely mini-castle just on the Slovenian side of the border, with views over the vineyards of Brda and Collio. This design hotel is a great place to stop for a night or two, to sample the local wines and restaurants.
