We rented this apartment for a 1-night stay for 3 people. The first surprise was an overcomplicated registering. In our vast experience with registering in various apartments, managed by private owners or organisations, this case was one of the most demanding. We took it positively at first, thinking that the owners are cautious and modern. The impression of “modernity” was also our very first impression when we entered the flat. However, very soon this impression was spoiled. The sink in the bathroom was completely plugged by the stopper. The plug stuck so hard that it took us half an hour to get it out. Was it our job to take care of the sink? Are we supposed to be plumbers? Of course, we could have called the owners and complain but we needed the water immediately and after all, the flat was supposed to be prepared to our stay. Another problem in the bathroom was the rainshower: when we switched the shower to the rainshower, the water became cold within seconds. It was warm when we used the “normal” shower but it couldn’t be fixed on the wall on needed height. It was very uncomfortable. The next problem that we discovered was ants. They were everywhere. This is an open space living room, so the ants walked freely all over the kitchen surfaces, drawers, and also the dining table, the floor… We were not comfortable to keep our bags on the floor because we didn’t want to carry some ant away from his home. With 140 euros per night, overcomplicated registering that took far longer than 5 minutes, all the “we are so modern” impression, we somehow expected that the flat would meet some basic expectations, like ready-to-use bathroom, well-controlled water temperature in all devices, and insect-free living spaces. Otherwise, the flat was fine. All needed utensils in the kitchen, well-working devices, spacious rooms. But given the problems listed above, I can’t recommend it.
