Overview
Entirely renovated in 2018, the 5-star Grand Hotel Barriere is located on the seafront in Dinard, facing Saint-Malo City. The beaches and the Casino Barriere are a 5-minute walk away from the Hotel. Rooms are elegantly decorated and are equipped with air conditioning, a minibar and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Free WiFi access is provided in the rooms, while the private bathrooms come with bathrobes, slippers, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Some rooms benefit from sea views. The Grand Hotel’s spas and fitness centres, SPA Biologique Recherche and St Barth, offer a range of relaxing body and beauty treatments. It has a sauna, a hammam and an indoor swimming pool with massaging jet system. Guests can enjoy a cocktail and piano-bar entertainment at the hotel bar, 333 Café, before dining on gourmet cuisine or seafood platter in the restaurant, overlooking the sea. “The hotel and location were perfect and were complemented by exceptional staff who cared for the guests.”
The hotel is well appointed and located with great views. The swimming pool and spa was perfect as you could use it at any time with children. The restaurant and bars were superb also.

“Stunning hotel, old school luxurious charm”
We keep coming back to this hotel, it's pure old school charm and the rooms are perfect, most comfortable beds and so many beautiful amenities, the balcony with chairs ensures you have a beautiful view of the gardens and sea. Cocktails are fantastic and restaurant is also excellent! Spa is also fantastic.

Great hotel a few feet away from the centre. Nice rooms. Great dinner and breakfast. Kids club. Nice pool... Anything you can expect from a 5*. We will go back.

“It sucked. And then I saw photos of the BERRIERE family in the newspaper...”
I couldn't afford any breakfast because I was forced to accept a booking in an extremely expensive room, which I tried in vain to change through the hotel and booking.com. They both blamed each other, but in the end, it was the hotel who said I couldn't change my booking in any way. So, I watched the other guests eating breakfast every day while I went hungry.

Attentive staff. Every employee here is motivated and performs his function with professional pride, especially at the reception and the Concierge/Portier. Tasteful, clean decor, perfectly maintained. Beautiful room. Excellent food and wine recommendations at George V, but also at lunch at 333.
