“Wonderful apartment in medieval Dinan!”

We loved everything! A quaint, cosy, small but comfortable, well equipped apartment. In a perfect location with the medieval streets of Dinan literally on your doorstep. The apartment is tastefully renovated and decorated, bed extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing! Lovely, totally private terrace, unfortunately too late in the season for us to take advantage of sitting outside. We loved the clock tower and the sound of the bells. They only ring from 7am-10pm so never interfered with sleep overnight. Pierre and his wife were absolutely charming and very helpful. Would definitely recommend as perfect accommodation in Dinan although it may not suit you if you struggle with stairs (outside metal stairs to enter) parking was easy but a short walk away with cobbles to wheel cases over. No TV or WiFi but that really didn't worry us.

Claudine was an excellent host, kind and helpful. The place lovely, very well decorated and in a great position in the town center. Very clean as well and with everything one needs foe a good stay (washing machine, dryer, coffee machine).

Excellent location for centre of Dinan, we came on a motorbike and the host provided a secure parking location 2 mins away. Pierre spoke excellent English and made us very welcome.

One couldn't come much closer to the center of old Dinan, just in the shadow of the clock tower. We loved the city and the businesses around, including the beer store just out the door! Very quiet despite the location. Great comfort.

“Perfect”

Extremely characterful accommodation in an ancient building in the heart of the Old Town. Owner had filled the apartment with lots of interesting and quirky objects. Pierre met us to exchange keys and the car for the car park, and show us round. He was lovely and so helpful. Would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in Dinan.

Adorable place in the middle of town, right near the bell tower. Although we were warned that the bell rings from 8am to around 9pm (?), the bedroom itself seems to be quiet, one of us used ear plugs so didn't hear much, the other didn't use and said it was still ok. Not that big a concern. The owner is wonderful, he was accommodating about meeting us to hand us the key and also offered to help us find the free parking, offered to help drag one of our heavy suitcases to it, but we managed on our own to find the carpark. The place itself is cosy, with enough kitchen amenities, 2 types of coffee machines with accompanying ground beans / capsules. It also has a washing machine and dryer - we used our own detergent so check if they provide it in advance. Bring your own shower / shampoo stuff. Lots of lovely and warming decor and areas to sit and plan your days ahead. The best part though, is the huge and cosy courtyard that is all your own! You can have your aperitif or meals there, just watch out for the pigeons flying above :) At night, the ambient lights come on so it's quite nice when we returned home each night.

A haven right in the heart of beautiful Dinah, with the ancient clock tower affirming a long history with its bells. The apartment has been transformed into characterful and comfortable accommodation, cosy and modernised yet still retaining olde world charm, through a range of period furnishings and effects The facilities were excellent, with new, modern kitchen and bathroom, and a lovely ground level courtyard, private and tranquil, a complete contrast from the busy town centre. The sense of safety and security was excellent. Pierre was a helpful and friendly host, who met us in the town centre and accompanied us to the door. He replied swiftly to all messages.

La Cour Secrete was an absolute gem and deserves every rave review it gets. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay and would highly recommend it.
