“Alright”

The interior of the room was very nice, and also the inner courtyard. The area was pretty good as well. The bed was very very comfortable and the room had great toiletries.

We loved the courtyard where we had our breakfast which we put together from supplies from a nearby supermarket and the street fruit vendors. As shown on the wesite, the courtyard is a truly delightful spot, especially in a sunny morning, and important if you wish to eat or chat with your fellow travellers, as our rooms were too small for that. The staff were kind an helpful, and the daily room service and available linen service, ensured a clean room (and clean clothes). The location was close to where our conference was held and in a short walking distance the the lakeside, parliament house etc. Other city sights, the Plaza shopping mall, etc were usually an inexpensive taxi ride away.

Unfortunately no one at reception. The security guard did his best to handle the booking and show us to our room, etc The toilet didn’t flush and there was no hot water contrary to information on booking site. Could only speak to manager over the phone. Always told they were coming but didn’t show. Asked to change rooms but none of the rooms had a flushing toilet or hot water. Security guard tried his best and unblocked our toilet but problems continued. In the end we changed hotels after a one night stay.

Good Value, No Thrills, Secure, Safe, Accommodation about a 25 minute walk from the beach road and again a 25 minute walk to the Santa Cruz Cemetery. Don’t expect to much from the property but it does have charm..

Nice architecture with a lovely little serene courtyard away from the hustle of the Street in a secure compound. Only real negative is theres no WiFi available which I didn't realise. I also found it hard to find any WiFi in Dili so it was a bit tricky

The staff was friendly. The hotel fit The rating on booking. There was an issue with the room I booked so I was offered a smaller room for a lower price. I did not stay the second night that I booked as I was concerned the problem would not be fixed.

Secure, good value for money. Comfortable room with a functional kitchenette. Hot water shower in the bathroom.

Cheap, guard tried the best to communicate dispite language barrier.

The character and ambience of this compounded Guest House was very appealing to us . The lovely fountain courtyard,with tables and chairs, and the tropical gardens in front of our Suite ( no.7) were so relaxing after the busyness and noise of the town centre . A very quiet and peaceful haven ! The waterfront was just a short walk away and it has lovely sea breezes and many shady trees and seating. There are numerous supermarkets and bakeries and cafes close by. The Tourist Information Office is on the waterfront and has many English Brochures . We loved our accommodation, as it had a huge comfortable bed , a small sitting room and a compact kitchen and an adequate bathroom + little terrace overlooking the lush palm garden with seating . It is a little "tired," but perfectly clean, and serviced regularly. All the staff were very friendly and more than willing to help us with any issues .Cilla on reception was a great help getting us to Baucau, and other thing's . As stated by numerous reviews...there is NO internet so we used our own WiFi, but it is hideously slow in Timor Leste . Not sure why they don't delete it from Booking.com. A delightful place to stay if you want something unusual and atmospheric.
