staff were very friendly and easy to communicate with and rooms clean and cool with a really nice bathroom

This place was very nice! We initially only booked 2 nights but ended up staying 5 nights instead. The room was big and spacious, comfortable bed, big bathroom with very good shower. Also hot water in the sink, not only the shower, something to not take for granted in this country. Staff was very nice and helpful. They provide scooter rentals as well (need to bring your international driving license). You can also pay for your stay with card! This was the only homestay out of 6 that we visited that accepted card payments. Would definitely recommend this place!

Everything so nice, can’t recommend enough! Very quiet location, very clean, great aircon and friendly staff! Also they have scooter rental at a good price that they offer from the hotel. Wish every hotel I stayed in was as nice as this

The room was very clean and spacious! The shower was great as well, very nice water pressure. The host is super nice and friendly! Location is also good, only a short walk away from the center/beach.

The kindest family we have met on our travels, nothing was ever an issue and they treated us as one of their own. We even had Christmas dinner with them ! The beds are super comfortable. Shower is always hot and powerful. Air con was brand new and exceptional. Excellent location and only a 10 minute walk to the beach.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The family are lovely and made me feel at home. The room was clean and well-equipped and the nature around the house made it feel very relaxing and peaceful.

We had such a beautiful stay here. The family who runs this place are some of the kindest people we’ve ever met. They truly treated us like part of their own family. I injured my ankle during our trip, and they went above and beyond to look after me — checking in constantly to make sure I was okay, helping me up the stairs every night, and even bringing me crutches from their temple so we didn’t have to buy any. They offered us dinner, helped with anything we needed, and made us feel completely cared for. Their kindness made such a difference during a stressful time, and we’re so grateful. If you’re looking for a stay with genuine warmth, hospitality and heart, this is the place. Highly, highly recommend.

Such a lovely family, great room, great breakfast. Nice touch of adding toiletries in the bathroom including conditioner. Room also had tea/coffee making facilities. Made to feel very welcome.

Amazing place to stay in Hiriketiya, the family are genuinely nice. Good internet and air conditioning! Located on the main road around 10-12 minutes walk to the Hiriketya beach!

I enjoyed my stay at the Devon Surf Inn. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The family are all lovely hosts and they made me feel very welcome.

Great location and nice greenery around the villa

The place is nice but it’s a little far from the center of Hiriketiya beach because is in the main road. The place is clean and the owners are really friendly and helpful. But in my opinion the price is a bit higher than it deserves.
