Really lovely family and nice room

I stayed there only one night, but everything was OK. Clean room, comfortable bed and close walking distance to the beach. It's located in the centre of the town and it is a place with the live music playing till late opposite the house.

“Homely atmosphere, tasty food and perfect location”

I had a great time staying at this house, I felt at home. It is perfectly located, just a few hundred metres to Hiriketiya beach and good restaurants around. The rooms are basic and clean, good value for money, the breakfast exceptional - various traditional Sri Lankan dishes that vary daily plus fruits, with an amazing dal as staple. I would recommend it to everyone staying there as it is one of the best and most affordable options in town if you prefer traditional cuisine. You also get to eat outside, in the courtyard, with an occasional monkey lurking about. :) The hosts were really kind and caring, they also offered me an affordable ride to Ella after my 10-day stay with them. I would definitely stay there again!

We had such a lovely stay at 50*, the owners couldn’t have been more kind. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect. The showers were amazing and beds very comfy. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Hiriketiya - stay here if you get the chance!

The owners were so sweet and the whole experience of staying at someone’s personal home was quite entertaining and enjoyable. A much more local experience than a hotel. What can I say, it was a 10 out of 10 weekend and so much fun to be there. I’ll be back ;)

Great place, great location - close to beach, restaurants ans shops. Great People, very friendly and helpfull. You can use fully equpitted kitchen.

Walking distance to restaurants & beach. Owners are lovely welcoming people. The noise problems are beyond their control.

The Homestay is just 3 minutes walking from the beach, perfect for a sunrise surf! Nyana is the friendliest host and helps you with everything you need. The room had all facilities I needed and was tidy and clean. First I booked one night and I ended up staying five.

little bit noisy with the bar across the road, but anywhere around this area has the same issue. Bars fault not the accommodation.

The hosts are a beautiful family who made us feel so welcome. It’s just a couple of minutes away from the beach .
