Hilda and Guido hospitality is warm and they make you feel at home. Room and bathroom are so spacious. Everything is brand new. The breakfast is excellent. I could rate 11 if there was the option.

“Hilda’s heaven or Heavenly Hilda”

Set back from the Road, behind 2 sets of Gates the security was great . The villa is beautiful operated on 3 floors with Hilda & Guildo using the lower 2 floors . Hilda is a great , friendly , helpful & charming hostess & the pool is gorgeous . The pool is clean , fresh & warm! The flat is large & comfortable & has all necessary amenities with a microwave / fridge . Local artworks adorns the walls. There is a daily cleaning service and a pretty outdoor balcony with seating. The location is fab and is situated opposite Eleven Pearl which is a beach club . Hilda takes great care with her guests & is a genuinely kind person. There is good access to tuk tuks and surrounding restaurants . Hilda will always help if bookings are needed and available by what’s app. Other than that, I hardly saw them. Breakfast is included & laundry by request. There is a tv with Netflix & Amazon. There is a fridge & microwave and fans & lights are smart operated. Pauline the cleaner / housekeeper is friendly & cleans daily. There is shampoo & shower gel in the modern and spacious shower room . All the sockets are UK friendly ( I.e 3 pin). There are fans within each space. What struck me is how everything is thoughtfully laid out & labelled . Everything is explained & it was reassuring to have local hosts on hand . The keys are labelled, the lights are labelled & there are notes explaining everything . There is a lockable drawer for your belongings, 2 ottomans & a dresser. The bed must be a Queen size ! Certainly very comfortable . The flat would suit a couple or solo traveller but not a party animal who wishes to entertain ‘visitors’ . All in all, given its location opposite the best section of the beach , its proximity to it, the availability of transport & Hilda’s assistance this has to be a perfect place to stay. Hilda & Guildo make stained glass .

We had the best time in Hilda and Guido’s house !We felt like home since arrival ! The place is extremely clean and it was being cleaned daily! Like having a private villa with our own pool ! Hilda’s breakfast was delicious !!! The beach is 5 minutes walking and all the best restaurants are very close too! Totally recommended and hopefully we will stay here again !

Hilda is a super host. She made the stay very comfortable. Was very helpful with the internet when it didn't seem to work. She recommended nice places around. She's absolutely amazing. The breakfast was lovely. The tropical fruits were really nice and fresh. The pool area was so cosy, and the pool was clean. Would definitely wish to come back.

Hilda and Guido are super friendly and helpful. The house is clean, private and so comfortable. Breakfast by the pool in the morning is super. Solar powered, practically "off grid" is quite unique... And well worth supporting their green energy lifestyle. Garden and pool are very well maintained. Location is great. A few minutes walk from the beach. Easy to get to clubs, resorts or restaurants. Hilda is the best !

Hilda’s Homestay or Karibu Oasis, which means “Welcome Oasis” is truly a beautiful and peaceful oasis in Diani. As you step into the property you are met with a beautiful lush garden and the lovely pool area. Everything is spotless inside and outside! As guests of Hilda you are living in Hilda and Guido’s home on the second floor with access to a bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a spacious living / dining room with a lovely terrace. There are ceiling fans in each room and a microwave and a fridge. There is also drinking water tanks in both rooms supplying hot and cold water. Hilda also has drinks and snacks for sale at a reasonable prices. Best of all (in my opinion) is that when staying with Hilda you are the only guests so it is truly peaceful and feels like being at home. I also want to mention the tasty and healthy breakfast included in the stay. Thank you so much for giving us the best stay we could imagine!

We loved our stay at Hilda’s. Everything was very clean, and the property had all the amenities available to use. The room was very big (and so was the bathroom), with a very comfortable bed, and a beautiful terrace overlooking the well looked after garden and swimming pool. We had a very early start in the morning, and Hilda very kindly made us a delicious breakfast to take with us, we really appreciated the hospitality shown.

WONDERFUL HOST

I ve never met such wonderful host. They went beyond my expectations. The place is so clean. Modern, well decorated that you want it as your home. The location is very close to the beach. The pool of the compound is even still warm late at night in case you Want to dive in. The breakfast is the best ever. It is pretty rare to have it ALL eggs, crepes,/panzakes,milkshake and fruits in one breakfast... so don't hesitate to stop by their place

“Must-Try Paradise in Diani!”

Hilda’s Homestay is a paradise! We had the most warm and pleasant experience during our trip to Kenya, and we would undoubtedly make this our top recommendation! ! The homestay is ideally located—just a few minutes' walk from the beach, and on the quieter and prettier side of it. The homestay is perfectly equipped and thoughtfully arranged. The quality of the linens, towels, mattresses, pillows, and more were all top-notch. The room is incredibly spacious and well-equipped with everything one could need—and even more! Every space in the house is tastefully decorated, reflecting the love that Hilda and Guido have put into every corner of their home. The breakfast is wonderful! We had read reviews about it, but it exceeded our expectations—it was a total delight! The pool and garden are beautiful and meticulously maintained, making for a truly luxurious experience. And the hosts? Simply amazing! We felt their warmth the moment we arrived and were welcomed with kindness throughout our stay. We wish them much success in this lovely endeavor and would absolutely recommend this homestay to others.

Beautiful home and such a nice host! I had a perfect stay with Hilda. The house is amazing and beautifully crafted. You have a big bedroom to yourself with en-suite and then you get another big living space with balcony. Really comfy bed as well. Then breakfast was delicious. Fresh coffee, lots to choose from and all made up fresh. Hilda even woke super early at 5am when I went to Safari to make me a big breakfast before I left. I really enjoyed having the entire pool to myself for a swim before breakfast then heading to the beach for the day where I was able to use the hotel sun loungers. Hilda and her partner are superb hosts and really welcoming.

“A truly unique stay”

Everything: Super comfortable, clean and very well equipped accommodation in a beautiful villa, everything is like in the pictures. Hilda was a super nice host and always prepared a very delicious breakfast. The location is perfect, quiet but still close to the beachfront, with a private pool surrounded by a beautiful garden. They are also happy to provide information about scuba diving, local programs and restaurants. Hilda’s homestay was very unique and quiet, totally recommended instead of a hotel.
