I had a great stay. I extended to 2 weeks stay because it was so comfortable. Everything is taken care of, the food was great, the view, the room vlean and comfy with a little balcony, mountains in the far away. Quiet area, good air, friendly people, and many day trips possible. The family is lovely of great help and also very experienced with hiking with great tips. Thanks for the stay and hospitality!

“Amazing views, amazing hosts!”

Prem and his family are extremely welcoming and look after your every need. Prem even took me on a hiking tour and a motorbike tour! My room was on the top floor, very clean, with truly amazing views. I would go back there any time.

A few hosts stand out for me on my journey and Prem was one of them. no one quite encapsulates what you imagine “host” should mean, a role too many seem to think requires the bare minimum. I didn’t need much but whether it was advice for my hike, offers of transport, local knowledge, or just flexible meal options, Prem was able to provide all. Can’t imagine there’s a better place to be staying on this hill- not to mention that view

Perfect stay in Dhulikhel. This rooftop is the best view on the mountains in town. Super breakfast, friendly kind people. A real homestay. Hot shower, good and clean bed. It was cold in the room so i could use an extra blanket.

“Solo travellers not allowed in this lodge, felt offended and unsafe.”

I reached the lodge after such a long journey to this isolated location. To my disbelief, the Owner of the lodge , Prem tells me solo travellers are not allowed in his lodge and asks me to leave. However, this policy of not allowing solo travellers was not mentioned anywhere while booking.I felt offended by the way the owner asked me to leave the premises and moreover felt very unsafe as I was alone at his mercy and this place is in isolated location and there were no guests at the lodge on that day.

“Family run lodge with peaceful atmosphere”

Location outside Dhulikhel (25 min walk) is perfect to be immersed in the more rural life of the area. A relatively long walk till the very beautiful Nammobuddha monastery is possible. Visit the monastery round 10.45 to enjoy the monks songs. The owners took good care of us and provided really delicious family food at a very good price. Although it rained now and then during our stay, we spend a very good time at this homestay. The room and the terrace have a beautiful view of the surroundings and of the sunrise. The room is basic but we slept very well.

I felt really taken care of by Prem and his family. Stunning views (once the fog cleared!)

The staff were fantastic, so kind and friendly and went out of their way to help me, despite me arriving v late at night in very heavy rain. The food they then prepared was absolutely amazing as was the breakfast. I felt like I was part of their family and felt so very very welcome. Thank you so much for saving my day and making me feel so happy again.

Prem and his family are wonderful hosts, very kind, friendly, attentive and helpful.The views from the rooms are amazing, looking directly towards the mountains. The breakfast was tasty and substantial and always served with a smile. The Nepali food was great too!

Did not stay with them as they cancelled my booking after a few hours of confirmation.

“If you’d like a peaceful stay in a fried”

Super helpful host, Prem. Away from the crowds. Peaceful with great views over the valley. Accommodated vegan meals. Offered reliable shuttle service (me to Nagarkot). He also does a shuttle service to and from Kathmandu airport. Other places too I think. He also offers trekking/hiking.

The guest house is a little bit outside of Dhulikhel but the hospitality we received from the owner was amazing, he really made it an enjoyable stay, extremely engaging and caring!

Amazing views from the Guest house which is a delightful way of waking up and enjoying your breakfast. You are out of the busy city life here and can easily come to rest and plan your trip to Namo Buddha. The best thing about our stay was the hospitality and always smiling owner of the guesthouse. I can easily recommend this place to families or anyone wanting to enjoy breathtaking views from the terrace.

The location is perfect to watch mountain ranges and the owner of the homestay is such a cool person. He is always there to help you with anything. I had a very great stay here exploring the street art of Dhulikhel village. And the complimentary breakfast was too good.
