“Mature solo woman traveller”

Being a lone mature lady travelling on my own l was a little anxious coming to Dhaka Bangladesh. I need not be as l always felt safe. The Capital Hotel was an excellent place to stay ( location - close to everything ) they helped with anything l needed to make my stay good. The staff were all awesome ,l never felt uncomfortable. At times there was a language barrier but with a translator we got by. My room was large and spacious with a good ensuite. The bed was comfortable. There was tea & coffee in the room and water was supplied each day. The hotel organised me a driver to pick me up from the airport ( which was awesome - note you have to go outside to meet your driver ) and a driver / guide ( great price compared to whats on line ) Sumon and Robi who were both fabulous - friendly - knowledgeable and good drivers with nice cars. I got them to bring me out each morning for 4 - 5 hours came back for a rest then out to dinner ( local street food ) from 6.30 pm - 9 pm Which was magic. Dhaka was quite overwhelming at first ! but by the time l left ( 1 week ) l had fallen in love with the place ( people - culture - food - music ) with the support of The Capital Hotel l had an awesome stay

The staff are very helpful. They let me stay longer after check out time because of my flight. The rooms are nice and they give you fruit and coffee and tea.

Hotel The Capital is exceptional. The rooms are absolutely fabulous and comfortable. The staff is superb and their help is outstanding. Especially if you are coming first time to Bangladesh they give helpful advice and recommendations and help with any queries. This hotel is best. When I will come back to this fantastic cit, I am sure I am going to stay at Hotel The Capital Ltd again. This is a great place to stay!

Very friendly staff, always helpful. Very good location next to shopping centre and restaurants. Easy to reach all tourist sights in Old Dhaka.

“Welcoming personnel and clean”

The location and the personnel were great. It was clean and confortable. The breakfast was delicious. They upgraded me to a bigger room.

Highly recommend. Service was truly excellent, location was great for visiting Old Dhaka / getting to Sayedabad Bus Station. Rooms were fine. Loved the coffee in the cafe attached to the hotel. They were super flexible with my check-in and check-out and extremely helpful. They took excellent care of me. Thank you!!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Really went out of their way to help us. Good location close to old city but easy to get to from airport. Good restaurant in hotel. Rooms were adequate for 3 star hotel and clean I would use again when in Dhaka Ps They will organise a very good trip to historical sites and outside city much cheaper than on Google...

The hotel staff was very friendly. We encountered heavy rain and flooding during check-out, and the staff even helped arrange CNG. When booking bus tickets at the bus terminal, the station attendant was initially sceptical of us, as we were foreigners without a Bangladeshi phone number. However, upon hearing we were staying at Hotel The Capital, they immediately booked tickets for us, demonstrating the hotel's reputation in the area.

i liked the general vibes of this Hotel ; the staff are very understanding, polite and helpful; they go out of their way , and quickly, to make sure their guests are well looked after....the room i had was very functional, everything i needed worked for me , the internet, the ac, the power points, the shower facilities, and the airport pick up and drop off service worked really well. Even though my arrival flight was delayed by 3 hours, they waited and collected me without any hassle. I was very touched by the constant and immense hospitality of all the staff members in the hotel. The area of Naya Paltan is very close to the old and historic parts of Old Dhaka and the metro line connection is a short 15mins walk away. I am so glad i chose this hotel for my stay in Dhaka. thank you everyone there.
